When you take the time to design custom T shirts, you will probably want to share your work with some friends. If you are using the Internet for social networking, you may have friends all over the world. There are several ways to show your work to your friends using your computer.
If you have drawn a design for the shirt, you can attach that scanned image to an email and send it to your friends. To give them the complete concept of the shirt, type the text that will be printed on your shirt into the email.
If the T shirt company that you are working with uses standard font styles and sizes, you can usually show exactly what text will be on your T shirt. All you have to do is to set up your word processing program for that font, type the text that way, and copy it into the email. Your friends can use their imagination to think about what the custom T shirts might look like.
For stock images that the T shirt company provides, you can email your friends with the link to the website of the online T shirt store. Then you can direct them how to find the images you have selected. Soon they will know exactly what you have chosen. If you supply them with the text, they will have a perfect idea of what you have designed.
Of course, you can always order some of the custom T shirts you have designed and send them to your friends. They may like them and wish to order more, at which point you could put in a repeat order once they had sent funds. On the other hand, giving out T shirts can get costly, especially if you have dozens of friends you have met online.
Probably the best way to give your friends a peek at your shirt designs is to use a company that offers a special service for that purpose. Such a service might allow you to make up a design, complete with text and image, and automatically email it to your saved list of contacts. Your friends are sure to get a complete visual image of your design if you do it this way.
Your computer is your best tool in spreading the news about your most recent T shirt designs. If you want all your friends to see what you have created, use the technology that is available to you. Everyone who knows you will want to see what custom T shirts you have been designing.

Having a computer at home and being connected to the World Wide Web may be convenient, but it also posesses a threat to your computer security. Computer security can be annoying and devastating in the worst of cases. So it is important for every computer user to know the real score about computer security and the risks involved.
There are many destructive elements lurking on the net and many have been victimized by these vicious attacks. The most common attacks are from viruses, spyware and adware. These elements can penetrate your computer without you knowing it. The can be passed from users as email attachments, bogus links and websites.
In order for your computer to be protected, you need to take counter measures as early as possible. By having your computer protected before you get connected to the net, you can minimize and zero out infiltration from these harmful elements.
Basic To-Do Tips to Enforce Computer Security
Here are just a few basic tips to ensure computer security.
1. Turn on your firewall immediately after purchasing your computer and before connecting to the internet. This is a crucial step that you have to take in order to initiate computer security. Your computer’s operating system comes with a firewall; turn that on before anything else. Although a firewall may sound secure enough, you also need backup to strengthen your computer’s security.
2. Install an anti virus program. You can avail a free anti virus program from the computer retailer and then later replace it with a more updated and potent version from the net. Make sure that your anti virus program runs live every time you are connected on the net to allow regular updates. And download anti virus program/s from popular reputable sites.
3. Install an anti spyware/malware/adware program. You can also ask your computer retailer for a free copy and you may download from a legitimate site afterwards. Make sure the anti spyware runs live and updates regularly.
4. Avoid opening emails and attachments from suspicious senders. Usually spam emails send links, photos and other sorts of attachments that may carry viruses. Whatever you do, avoid these emails and delete them immediately.
5. Avoid surfing suspicious websites. Porn sites are usually one of the hideous carriers of viruses and adware. Avoid surfing from these sites to prevent virus or adware infestation.
6. Always scan diskettes, CDs and devices you insert to your CPU before accessing them. Devices that have been used from other computers could contract viruses and can pass them to your computer when you use them without prior scanning. Always remember to scan them first to be sure.
Computer security can be achieved and enforced but it should start from you, the user. It is imperative that you do check your computer from time to time and do regular maintenance management to ensure that your computer is free from these harmful elements.

Windows Movie Maker is one of the latest applications for the Windows operating system from Microsoft. Windows Movie Maker allows users to store, create, edit, and manage their home movies using their PC and other assorted home movie equipment. This application allows you to add special effects, alter the format, and much more. Windows Movie Maker has become very popular with users, because of the flexibility and functions of this application. This program can cause Windows Movie Maker error messages though.
Some of the errors that occur with this application are associated errors. These errors are not caused by Movie Maker, and they will occur no matter what software program you are using. This can include missing files, corrupted files, registry entries which are not correct, viruses or other electronic infections, and spyware programs. The steps used to correct these errors will work to repair and eliminate any errors on your system. It is also a good idea to only keep one application or window open at a time, and this can eliminate some error messages.
Windows Movie Maker Errors, And Other Software Programs Which Can Cause Them
Viruses, worms, and trojans are electronic infections that are a major cause of error messages on any system, and these are easy to repair and get rid of. A good anti virus program will prevent these infections from happening, because they are caught and removed before any damage can be done to your system or hardware. Keep the definitions updated in the software, so that any new threats are recognized and removed. It is important to scan your system frequently, so these infections are detected as soon as possible. This will stop some of the Windows Movie Maker errors.
Spyware is a big cause of Windows Movie Maker error messages, both those concerning Windows Movie Maker and those related to other programs. In addition, spyware causes major speed and performance loss on your PC. These programs can also hijack your computer, as well as capture secure and private information, such as passwords and account numbers. Preventing these programs from taking control of your system is important. Spyware generally does not get your authorization before downloading and installing these programs, and they can run invisibly in the background. An anti spyware program will stop this, and prevent error messages.
Using a registry cleaner can stop almost all Windows Movie Maker errors. The registry of your system contains all the entries and keys needed by your operating system and any applications and programs installed on your computer. This registry also may contain software fragments for programs which have been removed, and these can clutter up the registry and cause error messages to appear. With registry cleaner software, cleaning the registry is simple and quick, with no risks or extended time needed.
Registry cleaner software makes cleaning the registry much faster and safer than manual editing. It would take days or weeks to go through the registry and edit each individual entry, and the risks are high that the wrong entry is edited, leading to system instability or even system failure. With registry cleaner software, there is no risk of system failure or instability. The Windows Movie Maker errors will be a thing of the past.

One of the neatest recent inventions for a computer is the flash drive. These are so cool, and nice to have. They range in prices and storage size, but really from just two years ago the prices have gone dramatically down. These can be used by people for all sorts of different things. Such as storage of pictures that you may want to take along on vacation to show family, this can be done instead of emailing the pictures. Or maybe businesses that have a proposal that an individual can take home and work on, not that a lot of places do this, but it can be done now.
These very small flash drives hold a ton of information, compared to the now ancient floppy drives. And in most cases they hold more information then a cd can hold. Plus they are much smaller and usually have a strap that you can hang them on your neck.
Another example of good usage of these flash drives are writers who want to store their stories on another backup just in case their computer crashes. Flash drives like stated before can store as little as 216 mb all the way up to 5 GB or more. Prices can range from $10 to $100 or more. It really depends on what you want to store and how often you’re going to need to get to it. Really in general it’s just a good way to back up your files to make sure that you don’t loose them in an computer accident.
Another great thing that many people are purchasing are a web cam/digital camera combination. I only state this because at Wal-mart I recently bought one of these for so cheap, I was really surprised that it worked when I got home. It’s very small maybe measuring 2″ x 3.5″, and it cost $20. It works great, the pictures aren’t bad at all, and as far as a web cam it works perfectly fine.
Overall it would be a great gift idea if someone doesn’t have a web cam or a digital cam. The only thing you should keep in mind is that don’t buy it for a smaller kid, even though it’s inexpensive, it would be easy for them to lose the camera. But at that price is it that big of a deal?
Or you can get a regular web cam, those are cool too. They have them in all different shapes and sizes; well most of them are smaller. But you have round ones that are cute, and just plan old square ones. You will pay around $30 to $50 dollars on most of the different cameras, unless your going for a top of the line web cam then you might pay a bit more.
These are only three accessories that you can get for your computer; there are so many other choices these days too. The different digital cameras that you can get, hard drives that can go on the outside of your computer, or external drives as they are better known, speakers that you can get, microphones if you want to talk on your computer to someone else. So many cool things, it’s just what you want to buy.

So you have a cool video that you shot, and you think it would be neat to put it up on You Tube or even other places. If you have a funny video of a friend wiping out while skateboarding, or snowboarding. Or just a funny video of someone, even you signing so out of tune the cats are howling!
First you want to make sure that you have it edited good. Most all desktop computers can be used for video editing, just as long as you have the following things on it. You need a FireWire port that the camera can be connected too, if your computer does not have this option you can easily buy the FireWire card and install it yourself for a cost of no more than $100.
You also have to make sure that your CPU has enough power, and enough hard disk space available, and a bus bandwidth that can handle the data that will be flowing through the FireWire cable. You can usually see if your CPU will match the requirements by checking out the FireWire box when you purchase it.
To process videos you will use a lot of your CPU power, and be moving a lot of data on and off of the hard disk. If you have a slower computer this is a place where you will notice that slowness, or the fastness of a quicker computer. If you’re going to be doing a lot of different videos, you might want to think of upgrading your computer and making it faster. This will pay off in the long run.
You will need to render the movie or write it onto your hard disk. Here again you will notice if you have a faster computer, this process will take all of a few minutes, but a slower machine will take several hours.
When you are transferring data from the camera to the FireWire cable, your computer and hard disk must be able to have the capability to keep up with the camera, or you will possibly lose frames. The same can happen when you are transferring the information back to the camera, the processor needs to be able to get the data streamed quickly or the camera will possibly lose frames.
If you’re looking into the software you need to edit a video on your computer, there are many different choices. Windows XP actually has this ability built into the operating system. Machines that come from Sony and even Apple also have the software with the machine when you purchase it.
You can also purchase software, or even use a free demo version of Adobe Premiere. This is a free demo that will work on both PC’s and Mac’s; it’s full-featured, and very highly touted by many who need to use video editing.
Of course you will have to learn the proper ways to edit you’re hopefully “bring you to stardom” video. But with a bit of practice you may be able to turn that video into a professional looking piece of work.

Spyware and Viruses
No Comments
Anti-Virus software is a program to run on your computer, often in the background and keeps malicious spyware and background viruses from attacking your hard drive.there are different techniques that the software will use to keep viruses off of your computer. The software will start to scan all your files you have saved so that it can search for known viruses that will match definitions in a dictionary made only to detect a virus. Having antivirus software protects your computer from getting infected from different kinds of Mal ware that can be embedded in e-mails, downloads, and even programs that you install your computer.
The software will identify suspicious behavior from any computer program that might show signs of infection. The analysis may also include data captures, port monitoring and other methods. Most commercial antivirus software starts off with the approach called the virus dictionary approach.
Basically what happens is your antivirus software is constantly updated with a latest in the dictionary that it carries of viruses. The software scans your computer looking for anything that matches the different files that it has in its list of different viruses. Once the computer software comes up against any of these files that match in its list or dictionary of viruses, the first thing it does is try to remove it from the file. If you cannot remove it from the file, it will quarantine it. By putting the virus in quarantine, it prevents it from spreading further onto your computer.
Because the virus dictionary approach relies on a file of viruses, you need to make sure that when you buy antivirus software it comes with unlimited virus updates. The world of spyware, viruses, and Mal ware is ever changing and evolving and it is up to a good software company to keep up to date with the different viruses that are out there. Most software will update itself with the latest viruses. But you need to make sure that you are updating frequently because once you stop, the odds are that a new virus out there can get on your computer.
Most versions of antivirus software now continue to run in the background of your computer. Especially if you are constantly online, you can get a virus just by visiting a webpage. There are computer hackers out there that can install a virus into your computer from the webpage you are visiting. With the current antivirus software that is out there, if it’s running in the background it will catch the attempt to install the virus, remove it, or quarantine it.
You can buy antivirus software, or you can actually download free versions off of the Internet. Now this may sound funny because downloading something off of the Internet could have a virus on it, but there are websites that have high authority and are trusted to provide freeware that is constantly updated. If your computer is new, you may actually are ready have antivirus software preloaded in the operating system.

File recovery software has literally saved many businesses. A photographer mistakenly deleted a client’s entire wedding production from his computer. A mistake like this could cost him his career seeing how references from satisfied clients are such an important part of his business. Who’s going to recommend a photographer who lost pictures documenting one of the happiest days of your life? Hopefully, nobody is even going to know, if file recovery software recovers the images.
The mistake that could have been prevented
The photographer accidentally deleted the video file during the editing process. This could have all been avoided if he had been regularly backing up his work, but mistakes do happen. As soon as he realized his mistake he immediately contacted a data recovery service for help.
Finally, the file was recovered and everyone was happy. This could happen to anyone - even you. If you lose important data on your computer, what will it take to get it back? Everything depends on the actions taken immediately following the data loss, and how well the file recovery software you use works out.
Pausing just might recover your data
The most important thing to remember prior to using file recovery software is to do nothing at all. Most damage or permanent file loss occurs within the first hour after discovering the problem. Don’t rush into anything before you take time to gather your facts and possible solutions. Then you can make moves with a full understanding of what needs to be done and how to use file recovery software. If you don’t feel confident handling file recovery on your own, contact data recovery professionals for advice.
Downloading and shopping
Most people don’t buy file recovery software on impulse; not after the frustration of data loss kicks in. All too often I hear people punishing them self for an honest mistake instead of focusing on what to do to get their data recovered. Get to the downloading and running process and see if you can use file recovery software or need a professional to do it for you.
One last thing: you may also want to spend the time to read reviews of what others are saying and about the user friendliness of product. Then choose two or three of them to try. If after all of this effort you still cannot find your data using a file recovery software utility, contact data recovery professionals for more in depth assistance.
Ken Roberts, the creator of Media Tools Professional file recovery software, has been creating tools since the industry formed. If you need additional file recovery help contact ACR data recovery at 1-800-444-3225; or go our website.

Storage services providers offer small and medium sized businesses a back up system for their data in disks, tapes and hard disks for quite a reasonable monthly fee. Business owners can plan on how to get their data backups delivered through the internet.
Many business owners readily accept to store their data to a web based storage provider because an online back up system saves on costs of traditional backup methods. These traditional methods require extra hardware, personnel and a lot of time that is spent in handling the data. Small and medium sized companies usually don’t have enough budgetary allocations to pay for an onsite data storage facility and keep a staff to handle their data storage and back ups like much larger companies.
Small companies are usually so much involved with other important aspects of managing the business data, that they keep it in stores hoping they will get time to store it properly before any information is lost. You do not need to worry about any security risks with a reliable online data storage company and any one who may express worry it is because they simply do not understand how it works. The information is normally highly encrypted before it is stored online where it remains encrypted until the customer needs to access it.
Encryption is available to ensure that confidential data is kept safe and secure. Even the administrators do not have the ability to access the clients’ data. Your data can only be accessed by the client because it’s only him who keeps the encryption key. The type of encryption used is extremely high and is similar to the one used by financial institutions and the federal government.
Online data storage is beneficial because whatever data is stored can be retrieved anytime it is needed. Recovery of data stored online is much faster than the time needed to recover from compact disks and zip drives. With online data storage there is no need for staff or IT personnel to access or store, there is no time spent picking media files from an offsite storage facility and transporting it to where it is needed. There is also the risk of making errors when dealing with personnel instead of the online back up system, no money spent on time used when making these errors and other mistakes.
Storing data in the traditional in house method is quite risky as it can be easily destroyed by fire or even stolen. If you consider the time, personnel and money spent on online storage system its no surprise that many small businesses are choosing this way of storing data instead of in house storage systems.
Taking into mind the speed, reliability and the savings on online data storage can achieve, soon online data storage systems are set to replace media back up systems as the number one choice of today’s business world. If you are considering on cost effectiveness of your business then online data storage is the way to go.

Many people now opt to build their own computer so that they are more in control of the specifications they want and save more than just a few dollars. There are a multitude of DIYs found all over the Internet, and yes, it is possible to build one yourself! But before doing so, you must choose the right components for your computer. Here are some of the very basic components you need to get:
Computer Case
Computer cases now come in a variety of designs and colours. Some now even come with a panel window where you can see the inside parts through. What is important when buying a case is that the size of the case should support the size of the motherboard. A mid-tower case is highly recommended as it has enough room for all the hardware.
Power Supply
The power supply must provide you at least 300 watts and fit right into the computer case you choose. If you are one of those who extreme users or gamers, you may want to buy a bigger power supply to feed additional cooling, USB devices and case lighting.
Processor
The processor is the most important choice you need to make in setting up your own computer. You have to know exactly what kind and how fast you need. There are a variety of options from AMD and Intel, for example: AMD Athlon, AMD Sempron, AMD Duron, Intel Celeron, Intel Core Duo, among others. If you only use the computer to surf the web, do word processing, gaming and some graphics editing, the 1.8 GHz - 2.0 GHz might be enough. Extreme gaming, 3D rendering and video editing would need at least a 2.4GHz processor.
CPU Cooler
Processors usually come with a fan and a heat sink. But it is best to get a cooler that is more efficient and quieter than the one included in the package. Remember to get a thermal compound to put onto the CPU core.
Motherboard
Choose a motherboard that matches your processor’s socket type and supports the same bus speed as the CPU.
RAM
Similarly, choose a RAM that is compatible with the motherboard’s bus speed. Get at least 512MB of RAM.
Hard Disk Drive (HDD)
The HDD is your permanent storage for system files, applications, documents, games and so on. Get the largest hard drive capacity that you can afford. If you are on a tight budget, you can get at least a 60GB. Most motherboards have IDE slots for hard drives. Newer ones also have SATA connectors for SATA HDDs, which are quite faster than IDE HDDs.
Graphics Card
If you use the computer for regular office work, you can get a motherboard with a built-in video card. If you use it for gaming, you might want to buy a separate video card. Video cards usually use an AGP slot or a PCI Express slot on the motherboard.
Sound Card
Most motherboards have built-in sound cards which generally have good quality. If you use sound mixing or audio/video editing, you can get at least a 24-bit sound card for better quality.
CD/DVD
Of optical drives, it is best to seek for a DVD/CD-RW combo or a DVD+-RW; the latter is a better choice. DVDs have larger capacity to allow you to store more music and movie files and back-up data. If you do not expect to burn disks, you can opt for a CD-R or a DVD-R drive.

Wireless laptop computers are the best! Who can argue with the portability of a laptop computer compared to a desktop computer, and then add the ability to go wireless? Who wouldn’t go for that. Having a wireless laptop computer allows you to get things done just about anywhere, it is just a continuation of the de-centralization of the office place. There are a lot of different kinds of wireless technologies out there. The different technologies all do different things, and all cost different amounts. When you’re going to look into wireless laptops, here is some of the things to consider.
New computers are all coming with built in WiFi. Because of this standard, for the average user a new computer is all you need to have your wireless capabilities. The new computers have built in wi-fi that enables it to connect to the internet in a flash without a modem or NIC cards. A wireless laptop when powered up will search on its own for connectivity. This wireless capability allows you to get online at certain Internet capable hotspots in different areas.
There are however, other types of access that you can add on to your laptop.
Mobile broadband offers high speed data connectivity. Mobile broadband does come at a price premium. Typically, you need to sign up with a provider in much the same way that you sign up for a cellular service. Most of the people that you can get your cell service from offer broadband wireless capability. And, in much the same way that you sign up with a contract you do the same thing with your wireless broadband. Price ranges can vary, but typically you sign up for a year contract and pay monthly anywhere from 50 to 80 bucks a month. Depending on your area of this can be higher. The real benefit is that you are just about getting regular Internet service. The upload and download speeds are going to be faster, and this kind of connection is more secure.
With mobile broadband, you can also download larger email attachments and download complex files. The mobile broadband technology is more powerful and 10 times faster than the dial up technology that gives internet connection through your computer.
The wireless laptop computers with wi-fi connectivity allow you dual band connectivity at a public space or in the office to a local area network. The wireless cards can communicate with access points or routers. It acts like devices that send data back and forth with an antenna over the airwaves. What this means is that as long as there is a wireless router in the area, and you have access, you can connect to a local area network, or your company’s network and work on that network in real time. If you are using public access, you do need to be aware that you expose yourself to the potential that someone may hack into your computer. It is a good idea to install and use some kind of firewall protection.
There are also wireless laptops that have Bluetooth to enhance the rate of data through wireless technology. This Bluetooth technology would allow you to transfer the music and video files and also documents between your laptops and other personal devices. The introduction of Bluetooth is a new phase in the laptop world. It is very common to see a Bluetooth headset in your cell phones. Bluetooth integrating in the laptop is starting a new era in laptops. Keep in mind that your computer needs to be Bluetooth capable to utilize the Bluetooth technology. Many computers are coming standard with Bluetooth technology, but it is important to check.
Ultimately, the standard WiFi capability that a laptop comes with is plenty for the average user. With that capability you can jump onto hotspots, and if you have a wireless router in your home, you can tap into your high-speed Internet connection. For those that are using a computer for business, the broadband mobile card is a technology you may want to look into. Just make sure that the card will fit into your USB ports, or your laptop is enabled with the broadband card slot.

A hard disk drive also known as hard drive or hard disk is a non-volatile storage device, which has the facility to stock up digitally encoded data on rapidly rotating platters and magnetic surfaces. Its design consists of a spindle which can hold one or more flat circular disks known as platters, onto which the data is recorded. It has the ability to store data more than floppy disk drives and can also access and transmit data at faster pace.
Today, the boost in disk space and access speeds of hard disk drive have further facilitated the marketable viability of clients products that need great storage capacities, like digital audio players and video recorders. However, the main problem that we are coming across is erasing data or files from hard disk permanently. Most of us think that erasing files and emptying the Recycle Bin will help in permanently get rid of those files. In fact, in most of the cases Recycle Bin tells that emptying the Recycle Bin will permanently remove items. But this statement is totally incorrect.
You have to understand even after emptying the Recycle Bin, the files can be easily recovered by data recovery programs. Making the best use of delete key on actually removes the shortcuts to the files and makes them undetectable to users. Deleted files still reside on the hard drive and a rapid Google search will automatically show options for system recovery software will further allow to restore that data. Apart from erasing the files or data from hard drive, many people also consider that the effective way to erase hard drive data is by formatting the hard drive.
Though formatting the hard drive is somewhat secure than just erasing the files, but you should also note that formatting a disk does erase only the address tables. It makes it much more difficult to recover the files. However a computer specialist would be able to recover most or all the data that was on the disk before the reformat. Disk Wiping is the next new technique that is gaining its popularity these days. Disk wiping is a new secure method and ensure that data, including individually licensed softwares on your computer and storage devices is irrecoverably deleted before recycling.
Disk wiping is better method in comparison to erasing files or formatting the hard drive, because this method basically overwrites your entire hard drive with data, several times and once you format your hard drive, you may find it impossible to get back the data which was present on the drive before the overwrite. Though disk wiping algorithms vary from product to product, they usually write the entire disk with a number (zero or one) and then a reformat is required.
Today, there are many products available in the market that you can purchase or download to perform secure disk wipes. Moreover, the three free programs that are gaining recognition for erasing data from your hard drive are:
(1) Darik’s Boot and Nuke: This is an application that you can install on a bootable floppy or CD Rom. Boot and Nuke uses several methods to wipe the data on your drive to an unrecoverable state. With the facility to delete the contents of any hard disk that it detects, makes this application a suitable utility for urgent situation data destruction.
(2) Eraser: This is next famous software and does a great work of cleaning your hard drive by removing all magnetic and solid state memory. It is an advanced security tool, which further allows you to entirely remove sensitive data by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.
(3) KillDisk Free Edition: This software supports a variety of wipping options using advanced algorythms that pass NSA standards. There are both windows and dos versions available.
Now once one of these procedures is completed the drive is ready to be given away without fear of privacy invasion or fraud. These tools provide full confidence about your deleted sensitive personal information that is unrecoverable. In addition to this it also provide easy to comprehend and secure and affable graphical user interface GUI for permanent data removal.
Finally if you are still uncertain or want to ensure that deleted files are permanently gone, employ a file deletion management system. Today there are many file deletion programs designed to spot and permanently purge your computer of previously deleted files. These solutions initially scan a computer, find traces of previously erased data and finally remove discarded data including e-mail messages.

Do you know what computer software is? Of course most people will say yes to that question. Computer software describes different computer programs, or procedures. Computer software includes several different types, like application software, system software, and even middleware. To be a bit more specific application software is like a word processor it performs productive tasks. System software is your operating systems it interfaces with your computer hardware and will provide service for your application software. Middleware controls and co-ordinates distributed systems. Even film, tapes and records are some times caught in the broader meaning of software.
Why is computer software called software? This distinguishes it from computer hardware, or the devices that are required to store the software. Software at it’s lowest level is called machine language, which is specific to an individual processor. Machine language is a group of binary values which basically run the computer. Software is really just an order of commands that change the hardware in a certain sequence. Normally software will be written in higher level programming languages, because it’s easier for humans, unlike machine language. These higher level languages get compiled into the machine language. Or perhaps the software is written in assembly language, a representation of machine language, but by using the alphabet.
The different softwares are as follows:
System software which helps in the normal everyday running of the computer hardware, and system. It has such things as the operating system, like Windows Vista, device drivers, windowing systems, utilities, and much more.
Programming software, here the software provides assistance to a programmer who is writing computer programs. Here you will find such things as text editors, interpreters, linkers, debuggers, and etc.
Application software this will allow the computer user to do certain tasks, like medical software to help out the medical industry, or business software to help a business keep information and run smoother. Even educational software, like those games you can get to help your children out with math. And of course the most popular application software games, there are tons of games out there that people buy everyday.
Of these software there are also different levels of software, such as:
Platform software, which is where you get the device drivers from or an operationg system.
This is what allows a user to interact with their computer.
Application software as stated above includes games. This is purchased seperately, unlike platform software which will come with the purchase of your computer. Games as we all know will range in price, so it just really depends on what you want to spend.
User Software, this is written by either the user of the computer, or a programmer for a specific user. There may be specific tasks the person needs to have the computer do, but it’s not available in any other software, thus you get user software.
One of the big things in society now is the pirating of software on free download sites, there are also sites that will only offer the free trial for you to try something out. We all know that pirating is illegal, thus really something you shouldn’t do. However, if you can find a way to try out something for a week as a free trial, then by all means if it’s legal go for it. Trial and error is the best way to see if the software you are thinking of getting is best for you. Happy software hunting!

Spyware and Viruses

Before purchasing of downloading antivirus software there are some features that should look out for. We believe the key factors determining the quality of antivirus software is:
1. Its effectiveness at removing viruses (check independent tests for unbiased results)
2. Its ease of use (normally down to its user interface)
3. Its value for money
4. Its customer and technical support (should be free and 24/7 ideally)
5. Its regularity of updates
6. Its drain on system resources
7. Its compatibility
When all the major criteria were investigated we found that Kaspersky antivirus 7.0 to be the best all round antivirus software on the market day. However, it may not meet your requirements so it is important to do your own investigation using the criteria above. Our findings of some of the top sellers are below. Hopefully this will give you some guidance of what is out there at the moment and what may suit you.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0
The virus detection technology that drives this software has performed very well in independent tests and gained a strong reputation within the industry. The technical support is excellent and the user interface intuitive.
The other main advantages with it are the parental control features which are not present in other software (great for you parents out there) and the password protected privacy control. We found that it had minimal effect on PC performance (apart from the first scan which did slow things down). Finally, and very importantly it carried out automated hourly updates and real time internet scanning.
The downsides were its price $59.99 and the time it took to do the initial scan.
BitDefender Antivirus 2008
Another very effective piece of antivirus software is BitDefender. its scanning engines are ICSA Labs certifies and it also adds the added bonus of antispyware and antiadware. Gamers should be pleased with the new gamer version which stops annoying pop ups during game play.
A key advantage of this software over others is the rootkit detection and removal feature. Again this is something that sets it over and above the competition. Free 24/7 support and a reasonable price ($24.95) make it a real contender to Kaspersky antvirus 7.0. The downsides to this version are the lack of advanced configuration options which will frustrate the more advanced user. The scans were also on the lengthy side.
Norton Antivirus 2008
Despite having a strong brand and many years of experience developing antivirus software we think Norton Antivirus 2008 to be one of the worst on the market. It does the basics ok but there are too many problems with it to be competitive. For example, there seems to be an assumption only IE users exist. Help terms are geared towards IE users and Browser Defender does not work with any other browsers.
It is a massive 300MB, that is nearly 6 times the size of Kaspersky anti-virus 7.0. The limited performance does not justify this size. It slowed down our machine measurably. The interface was awful and configuring settings was a real pain. Finally, the anti-spyware was not very effective.
These are just three of the big players. Please do your research as the best known are not always the best.

Computers have become so important in so many parts of our personal and professional life that it is very important to safeguard the data stored in them against viruses which are designed to destroy or steal it.
However, many people take this very lightly and never think twice about the damage that can be caused by such viruses. Others may consider antivirus software but then opt for a free version rather than paying for it. What they do not realize is that even these free antivirus downloads might be spam or can inject virus into the system.
The free versions that are not malicious in their intent may however be very ineffective in detecting and destroying viruses. Much antivirus freeware is outdated and not powerful enough to fight the virus or remove it fully from the system.
Keeping this in mind many software companies are trying to cash in on the demand for a good antivirus software. So they introduce antivirus software which is powerful enough to fight any form of virus and it also provided one year free upgrade after which time the user can update the virus for a small additional fee. This software is normally moderately priced ($25 - $65) and can provide a complete solution for your systems security and safeguard the data from virus threats.
When you become a paid customer of an antivirus program you are entitled to certain special benefits which you are devoid of when you download free antivirus software. You will need to pay for customer support, possible after a short period of free support, but the most serious disadvantage is that the software is not automatically updated regularly. This prevents it being effective against new viruses which come on coming day after day.
Whereas when you buy antivirus software the software company is responsible for all your queries related to the software and its functioning. As the competition among the antivirus software companies increases more are offering increasing functionality (i.e. antiadware, privacy features etc) and better value. Free 24/7 live support is also becoming offered by some of the big players. Moreover the software that you buy will entitle you for a free upgrades for at least one year and after that you need to pay only a small fee to upgrade and continue using the software.
Therefore many benefits are experienced when a user opts for a paid antivirus software. Now, this may come as no surprise but it is all too common for people to pay more in the long term by taking the cheap short term option.

Adware is as annoying as spyware for computer users. What is adware? Adware stands for advertising supported software, it is a software that can automatically play, displays, or downloads ads to your computer after a software has been installed that contains the adware, or even when you are using that specific downloaded application. Certain adware as a matter of fact can be classified as spyware, because it is privacy invasive software.
How does Adware work? Well the advertising functions are built into or perhaps bundled with another software, this software will mark or make notes as to what internet sites you have gone too, and it will go off of this information to pop up advertisements on your computer that match the sites you have visited.
Why do people create Adware? Well sometimes the developer of the software will put in the adware because it is a way to allow him or her to recover the cost of developing the software. At times this may also allow the developer to offer their software for free or a reduced price.
In fact at times the income the developer earns off of these ads may motivate them to create more software with the adware bundled in, or upgrade the current software. Of course when these advertisements pop up on your computer you’re not thinking of the money the developer made, you just thinking how annoying these interruptions are to your work or fun.
Adware can also be known as shareware, although there are shareware that does not have adware bundled with it. The shareware that is advertising supported is adware, while a shareware program that is not supported by ads is just normal shareware. At times a way for the developers to make more money they will offer a registered copy of the shareware and it will promise no advertisements.
Just a few samples of some of the better known programs that have adware bundled with the downloads are as follows:
Adobe Reader
Kazaa
AOL Instant Messenger
Yahoo Messenger
Bonzi buddy
Messenger Plus! Live
Smiley Central
Burn4Free
Comet Cursor
RealPlayer
Gator
Hotbar
Incredimail
WeatherBug
Windows Live Messenger
Zwinky
This is only a partial list of programs, but you can tell some of the more popular downloads have adware bundled with them. So basically be careful at what you download or get an adware remover. I found it amazing that some of these had adware attached to them, while others had messed with my old computer so I had a feeling that something was wrong with the download.
How many people have Yahoo messenger though? Millions if not billions of people, and I bet none of them was aware of the adware being bundled with it. Same with AOL Messenger, again billions have this program downloaded onto their computer, where they aware of the adware?
The biggest surprise I felt was Adobe Reader, I really wouldn’t have guessed that being bundled with adware. It just goes to show you, you truly never know what all you are downloading.
As far as removing adware, there are several programs that will detect and remove adware. In fact some of these choices have the option of removing both adware and spyware. Two horrible things that you can remove at once that is great!

The Internet is a fantastic tool and is open to absolutely everyone. Unfortunately, some people are not aware of the dangers that exist. You should be made aware of these and learn how to best protect yourself. There are a number of ways to do this:
1) Make sure your Windows Firewall is switched on
2) Make sure you have a good antivirus package installed on your computer and that you regularly update it
3) Never open links from emails if you are unclear about its origin
4) Only download files from trusted websites
5) Only use a credit or debit card online with trusted providers i.e. ClickBank, PayPal etc
These basic points may seem like common sense, but you’d be surprised at how many people make these mistakes. What follows could be a virus infection on their computer, credit card fraud, and a whole host of other problems.
The Internet is a useful tool but has too many problems and dangers. So what else can be done to minimise any risks? Well next time you plan to surf the net, why not use a proxy website? There are loads of proxy sites available on the net, mostly free, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding one.
Proxies act as a middle man between your computer and the Internet. It routes data to you and handles all requests you make on your behalf. This way, when you visit websites, your details like your IP address and other information isn’t disclosed to the website you’re visiting. Instead, they capture the proxy’s details. This is useful if you want to retain a degree on anonymity while you are surfing and also gives you an added layer of protection from virus threats and hackers.
My proxy website is sometimes called Ninja Proxy or Secret Proxy. It has been around for a while now and is getting increasingly popular. All you have to do is visit the address or if you type in Ninja Proxy in Google it should come up. When you are at the site scroll down and locate the URL bar. You will see the http in the box indicating the place of the web address. Once you have entered in all you have to do is hit the GO button and you’re away!
Congratulations, you are now surfing behind an anonymous proxy website and your personal details are safe.
This is just one example of a proxy website that exists online. There are literally thousands of them out there. Another step you might want to take to protect yourself while online is to use an encrypted tunnel. These are particularly useful, especially if you are dealing with sensitive matters like large volume credit card transactions or Internet banking. The way it works is by creating a virtual tunnel between your computer and the server that provides the proxy and encryption services.
All of the data between you and the server and jumbled up. This is the purpose of encryption. This way, if somebody were to intercept and data, all they would get if jumbled up data and not the actual data itself. This would ensure maximum protection and should definitely be thought of seriously if you use a wireless Internet connection. There are numerous software packages available on the Internet that a hacker could purchase.
He could then download it and use it to hack your Internet connection from his computer. He could then steal you bandwidth, download illegal material, and even spy on your surfing habits. This is not meant to scare you but just to make you are of all potential dangers that exist while you are surfing online.
Unfortunately, encryption servers are not free and you will have to pay for it. It is definitely worth the money though and the level of protection you get from it is well worth it.
I hope you find this article useful and that you can use the tips and suggestions outlined to increase your safety and privacy while you surf online. Happy surfing!
Wayne Cutforth is 23 years old and lives in England. He owns and runs his own proxy website or secret proxy, as some call it. His secret proxy can be found here Secret Proxy

Laptops are one of the fastest growing portions of the personal computer industry. If you’ve had one, then you already know why. Being able to take your work or fun on the go is incredibly convenient and allows you to get out of the office or to maintain your productivity even when you’re busy. Plus, the increasing access to wireless Internet in your home and through public hotspots makes laptops and mobile computing even more appealing.
However, before you start spending money on a new laptop, there are a few things you need to think about.
What to Look for in a Laptop
First, you need to think about what you’ll be doing with the laptop. If you’re going to be using it for gaming then you’ll need to look for some high-end features that won’t be necessary if you’re going to be using the laptop mostly for word processing, accounting, or school work.
Second, you need to consider your budget. Cost is a major factor with laptops. They do tend to be a great deal more expensive than desktops but you’re paying for convenience. That doesn’t mean you should go in without a clear idea of what you can afford. Don’t expect to pay than $700 for a basic model. If you’re looking for a gaming laptop, you’ll end up paying around $1,500 and up.
Additionally, you’ll need to consider what features are important to you. Screen size is one such factor. Because your monitor is part of the laptop, you can’t replace it with a larger one down the road. Consider how important a larger screen is to you. You probably shouldn’t get anything smaller than a 15 inch monitor. Keep in mind larger screens will cost more and will be harder to transport because carriers in that size are hard to find.
Weight might also be an issue if your laptop is going to be traveling with you a lot. Larger monitor weigh more. Smaller laptops weigh around 6 pounds or less while some of the bigger models can be double or even triple that weight.
Don’t forget to think about battery life. You might want to consider buying a back up battery for your laptop, especially if you want to use your computer on the go a lot and may not want to deal with plugs.
Several Ways to Buy a Laptop
Laptops are usually purchase in three ways. Many brands can be purchased in electronic stores right off the shelves. Of course, your selection is going to be more limited because they can’t carry everything that’s available even from certain brands. The majority of companies also offer direct buying. You can call the company or go to their online stores to order your laptop. This can be a good option if you want to customize your laptop or if you want to do some comparison shopping. Finally, you’ll find many laptop brands being sold through other online vendors.
Regardless of where you go to buy your laptops, make sure to pay attention to the details so you’ll get exactly what you need.
The gaming laptops store has a wide selection of laptops that are purpose built for the best gaming experience. The author has a wide range of brands for sale like Alienware, Dell and Toshiba available as both new and used.

If you love computer gaming and want to take your passion for World of Warcraft, the Sims 2, or Doom on the road with you then investing in a gaming laptop is a must. Not just any laptop is going to meet your gaming needs so before you hit the shops you need to know what to look for in the system you purchase.
Why Buy a Gaming Laptop?
Gaming laptops are laptops that are specifically designed to support the higher demands of the video games on the market. The newer generations of these games include high-end graphics that can push most computers to their limits. Some games are so challenging that even many desktops can’t even play them.
When you purchase a gaming laptop, you’re investing in something that is going to have some of the most advanced technology on the market so that it will not only be able to play today’s game but games that will hit the market for the coming years as well.
Of course, you can do other things with gaming laptops. They usually have faster processors, larger hard drives, and better audio speakers so you can use them effectively for a wide variety of non-gaming activities as well.
What features should a Gaming Laptop include?
For starters, your gaming laptop needs to be capable of handling the most intense graphics possible. That means it must include top-of-the-line graphics card. You don’t want an integrated card - this is common in many low-end laptops but it won’t deliver the processing ability you’ll need for games. Instead, look for the most advanced graphics card available on the market at the time of your purchase or check the specifications for a high-end video game then compare that to the laptop’s.
Another feature you need is plenty of RAM. Because your RAM will determine how many graphics your laptop can handle at one time so the more you have the better. Look for around 2 GB of RAM. You can get away with less but you may have to add more at a later date to keep up with the increasing demands of the software. You might even want to boost it to 3 GB if you’re going to be running Windows Vista.
Your screen is also going to be important. If you’re going to be playing games, you don’t want a puny 15 inch monitor with low resolution. You’re going to want at least a 17 inch monitor. Consider a resolution of 1280 X 1024.
Which brands should I look?
One of the best brands in gaming laptops are the Alienware Area 51 models. These are a bit pricey with the lowest priced model starting at $1,500. However, they do provide everything you need for good gaming. Because you buy direct from the company, you can also customize all of the laptops to tweak their capabilities even more.
Toshiba, Dell, and Gateway also sell gaming quality laptops, although the prices can be even more than Alienware models.
Make sure you do your homework before making a purchase so you end up with a gaming laptop that fits your needs.
Are you browsing for quality gaming laptops? The author runs a gaming laptop website where you can find a large range of quality and high performing laptops at reasonable prices.

If you love computer games and just can’t get enough of it, you should choose the right computer with the best gaming motherboard. A computer’s motherboard is the core of the entire computer system. It connects all other parts of the computer and allows them to interact and run the machine effectively.
There are some important factors to consider when building a gaming computer. The best gaming motherboard will be dependent on how extensive your gaming requirement will be. But all in all, you need to get a good CPU to start with to maximize your motherboard’s performance.
Some Tips in Choosing the Best Gaming Motherboard
* Determine the type of CPU to be able to determine the correct motherboard and vice versa. These two components are crucial in building a computer system especially for gaming purposes. There are computer components that may or may not fit and work for specific motherboard types, so it is important to check it first.
* Check if your CPU has an overclocking feature. If it does, you need to look for a motherboard that allows minimal increments in FSB speed and CPU voltage.
* Currently, the latest RAM in the market is DDR2, so opt for motherboard that has at least 4 memory slots and up to a maximum of 8Gigabytes of RAM. This allows you to upgrade your computer system if the need arises.
* Opt for crossfire-ready motherboards to be able to use two identical high performance graphics cards. This type of motherboard supports and enhances advanced gaming graphics for optimum image display.
* Opt for a motherboard that supports SATA 2 device. Gaming requires speed and SATA 2 can provide the optimum speed for faster data transfers.
* Additional features such as integrated LAN, front panel LED, firewire and USB ports are essential. Extra graphics and sound cards are also must-haves for gaming computers.
Choosing the best gaming mother board shouldn’t be too hard. Just always remember the first two computer components during your search - the CPU is always in sync with the motherboard and vice versa.
When you are searching for the best gaming motherboard, think of maximum performance as your computer needs extra effort and power during gaming to produce high quality graphics, sounds, the works.
The motherboard is an important component of a computer system, and finding the ideal if not the best gaming motherboard, will definitely allow you to maximize your gaming experience.

Finding a good computer is getting much easier these days. Finding a cheap computer is a different story. Now, make that the quest for a cheap laptop computer and things get a little more, complicated. However, do not worry there are things you can do. Let’s take a look at how to find a cheap laptop computer online.
Step one in the process is to get access to the Internet. Assuming you are reading this, you have that access. All kidding aside, if you need to get access, and you’re reading this through some other method, you can get to your library, or even Kmart offers free access. Worse case scenario, borrow a friend’s computer.
Once you get that access, go to the Internet and sign up for a paypal account. You can find them at paypal dot com. PayPal is an online payment service. You can use this service to purchase securely on the Internet.
The next step in this process, you want to go to ebay. They can be found at ebay dot com. Sign up for an account. Signing up for an account with eBay is free, so there is no cost.
Once you have your ebay account, you want to search for laptop computers. You will no doubt be offered something like 12,000 offerings. And the offerings will be from all the major suppliers. You can buy new, used, refurbished, and even broken computers.
You don’t want the broken computers, but there are still plenty of offerings. And you should be able to find something in the 200-300 dollar range.
Do not just buy the first laptop you see. Shop around. One of the things you may be tempted to do is buy quickly, but you should look at the items that have time left before the auction is over. Compare prices and features. There is another feature you can consider and it is called the buy it now feature. If you see what you like, and it is in the price range that you are looking for, you can purchase it right away with the buy now feature. Not all products are offered that way.
Decide what your budget is in relationship to what you want to do with it. If you are only looking to surf the web, and won’t be running lots of programs, then you can find something in the $200-300 range. Check out to see if the computer is wifi capable. Now, it is usually a standard feature, and with all the great hot spots, you should be able to get free internet access when you are drinking our java. In general, make sure you purchase a laptop that has at least 512 MB of RAM, and a 1 GB of disk storage. You should be a little find something with a built-in DVD player.
This next point is very important. Check out the seller feedback. If you are new to ebay, you need to make sure you buy from someone who has a good reputation. All sellers are rated, and you can read the ratings. People that have purchased in the past from this seller leave comments and those comments should tell you whether or not to purchase.
If you are not going to purchase your computer with the buy it now option, don’t immidiately put in a bid. Wait until the auction is almost over. When the auction is down to the last five minutes or so, that’s when you should start bidding.. If you bid too early, you run up the auction price prematurely. Keep in mind, if you are looking at a great deal, you will need to watch closely when the time is near to end. One of the things to make sure you don’t do is get emotionally involved in the bid process. When people get emotional survey paid more than they should. Decide up front how much you’re going to pay and if the bid prices go past that amount stop. Pick another computer to bid on.
Soon enough, you will have your computer. Lastly, make sure you are aware of the shipping terms, and the credit terms. If you do not have paypal, or credit, you can usually buy with check or a wire. Just communicate with the seller.
So now you know how to get your cheap bargain laptop computer. Make sure you buy right.
If you are looking for a bargain laptop computer, Bargain Laptop Computer Shop has the best price on a cheap laptop computer. When you are ready to buy a laptop computer, our pricing can’t be beat.

Computer error beeps could be your worst nightmare. It usually indicates computer problems or errors within your computer’s system. Computer error beeps are also early warning signals that aim to trigger the user that there is something wrong with his computer.
If you encounter computer error beeps, you should immediately save a back-up copy of your files. Use a CD or flash drive in saving your files to make sure you’ll have a spare in the worst of times.
When you experience error beeps, don’t ever take it for granted. These could be just warning beeps that indicate potential problems with your computer. Once you hear a beep, take it seriously and make the necessary move.
Different Types Of Computer Error Beeps
POST or Power On Self Test failures are the worse types of computer errors that sometimes do not manifest in error beeps. At the start of your computer, you will usually hear the beeps that accompany information about your computer. Once you turn on your computer, it is the process called POST.
A single beep indicates that everything passes the POST. If your computer produces a series of beeps during POST, this means that there is a problem. Often times when this happens, the computer just ‘dies’ and nothing works. There are also cases that the computer continues to operate but on very minimum capacity.
Operating system errors trigger warnings and pop-ups that indicate your computer’s current problems. Computer error beeps will also be heard when these problems occur.
Here are some operating system errors:
* Blue Screen of Death - This is a dreaded error since users are left out with only a blue screen staring back at them. Although the Blue Screen of Death is not the worst, it is still a serious condition that needs immediate attention. It is a manifestation of hardware error and accompanied with a computer error beep.
* Corrupt or missing system files - Computer error beeps occur when files become corrupted. Usually, files can still be recovered and repaired.
* Damaged or corrupted registry - When a computer’s registry is corrupted or damaged, it creates errors that trigger computer error beeps. Computer registry stores information about your hardware, software and settings.
* Improperly installed software or device drivers - Computer error beeps are also triggered by improperly installed programs.
Computer error beeps will help you take immediate action whenever there are errors encountered by your machine. You should take it as a warning and precautionary indicator. Though there are drastic problems that could not be repaired immediately, occurrence of computer error beeps will help you fix the problems initially and allow you to further investigate the underlying errors.

There are few issues in life that cause more stress than technical problems (like computers). If you are forced to fix Windows registry problems, this article can assist you.
Registry repair is often the best solution when having slow, crashing or freezing computer problems, have challenges with the PC rebooting often, or if experiencing problems installing or uninstalling software programs. Often we first purchase and scan our system with anti virus software just to continue the performance problems in our computers.
Registry cleaning and repair is necessary on Windows based computers because the registry has must have files and user preferences. The Windows registry will become bloated and will slow your computer performance if not cleaned on a regular basis.
The following items usually pinpoint the need to repair Windows registry problems: Computer runs slowly, reboots are needed often, computer opens programs slow, the computer is slow to start up, it is difficult adding or removing programs, slow computer response times are evident, shut downs are not normal, or the Blue Screen of Death displays (blue screen with white letters).
Follow the steps below to repair Windows registry problems:
Step One: Develop a List of Symptoms
It is always good to have awareness of exactly what your computer is doing to know what the true repair needs are. This step is all about defining what is wrong with your computer now so that you will have a measure of how many problems are fixed after the final step of this article.
You can start with the list above, but also think of anything else you have noticed over time. Think of certain programs or processes that trigger issues. Are there only certain times that the problems occur? Do not spend a ton of time on this step, but make sure that your list is pretty solid.
Step Two: Utilize the Free Scanning Function of a Solid Registry Repair Software
Most of the best products that repair Windows Registry Problems have a free scanning option so that you can see if errors are detected. Choosing a product of this type is not difficult. There are a couple of key features that an effective product should have.
Some of the key features that registry software should contain include: simplicity of the product itself, automatic backup of files before the repair is conducted, custom file selection, a one year license (not one time use), optimization features in addition to just repair functions, and solid local or remote help files.
After locating software that matches the above checklist, do the deepest free scan offered to see what errors are found on your PC. You will have a choice of whether you want to move forward with repair (by purchasing the full version). If errors are found, you can move on to the next step. If no errors are found, it may still be a good idea to purchase the software so you can use it for ongoing scans throughout the year. I am a huge advocate of maintaining my computer each year with registry repair software, general virus scan software, and a solid antivirus software that address spyware, malware, and adware (including Trojans).
Step Three: Repair Windows Registry Problems
The same software that you used for the free scan can immediately do the repair once you invest in the repair function. Most of the good products also offer a multi-computer license at a discounted rate in case you have several computers in your home.
The repair portion of this process only takes seconds. Still, after purchasing the software, you will want to scan and repair as often as you can (at least once a week).
The time to repair Windows registry problems is maybe about 10 minutes total. Finish the process by restarting your computer.

Have you ever experienced Windows errors? The Windows operating system makes computers easy to use, even for a person who has no experience in this area. Windows offers prompts and warnings to help the user understand which processes are critical and which may be dangerous, and the icons make using Windows simple and easy. Sometimes, though, the Windows operating system may need to be repaired in some way, and this can lead to Windows errors, loss of performance, slow PC speed, and even the crashing and the loss of your system.
There are some steps you can take to repair Windows yourself, without having to call for technical or professional computer help. Tech support can get expensive, so you can see substantial savings by fixing the problem yourself. The first things you should check for are malicious software programs, such as viruses and spyware. These software applications can cause a lot of problems with all areas of your computer, including the Windows operating system. Running a scan with anti virus and anti spyware programs will keep your computer and operating system safer and more efficient.
Repair Windows Errors Quickly And Easily
If you have run the scans and there are no malicious software programs on your computer, try removing any programs which you do not use. A lot of new computers come loaded with applications and software, many of which you may never use. These applications take up resources that could be used by the operating system to work faster and more efficiently. Removing all the programs that you will not ever use will free up resources and may prevent many problems from occurring, without any Windows errors.
One possible solution to Windows errors is to reboot the computer in safe mode. When your computer is rebooted, it may fix any configuration problems or other issues that were occurring. When you reboot in safe mode, only those applications deemed safe, without Windows errors or any corrupted files, are booted up. This allows your computer to start up normally without the risks of a crash due to an error. Rebooting in safe mode is the most effective way to verify that your operating system is not damaged beyond repair.
The most effective way to fix Windows errors on your computer is to thoroughly clean the registry, but there is a catch. Manual editing of the registry requires a exceptionally long time, days or even weeks, and this process can have extremely high risks. The Windows registry contains all of the relevant operating system keys and files, and deleting the wrong entry in the registry may cause even more problems, including the total loss of your system. If you do not have a lot of experience doing this, you should never attempt to manually edit the registry.
A registry cleaner can do the same thing, only much faster and safer. These software programs are intended to clean out your registry without removing any needed files or keys. The entire process is very fast, requiring only minutes, and it is very effective. This step will not only repair Windows errors, it will also optimize your computer performance and speed.

Why do Win32 errors occur? Win32 is the Windows application programming interface, also called an API, for developing applications which require 32 bit support. This API is built in on the Windows NT and Windows 95 operating systems. Some applications which need Win32 can be run under the older 16 bit Windows operating systems, but the Win32 runtime system must be installed first. Win32 provides eight different categories of functions, and these allow the application a flexibility which allows it to work with many operating systems for Windows, but also can increase the potential for Win32 errors to happen.
Win32 allows the function of base services, and provides the access needed by the fundamental resources which are available to the Windows system. Advanced services, including the registry, are also possible because of the Win32 API. The Graphics Driver Interface function allows graphical content to be output to output devices such as printers, monitors, and others. Win32 API also controls and allows the user interface to function properly. The Windows Shell is also controlled by the Win32 API.
Win32 Errors, And What You Can Do About These
Win32 errors that occur may be very annoying, and some users may not know how to fix these, but it is not difficult. There are some things that you can do to prevent errors from happening, Win32 errors as well as errors relating to other programs and processes. The first step is to strip down your system, removing any games, programs, and applications that are not needed or used. This step will eliminate many errors that occur, and it will also speed up your computer and increase the performance.
Protect your system against malicious software programs with an anti spyware and anti virus program. These software programs are available in abundance online, and some are available at no cost. Make sure these programs stay updated with the latest security threat definitions, so that your system recognizes any threats. It is advisable to scan your computer frequently, at least three to five times a week, and preferably on a daily basis. This step will increase the security of your PC while eliminating any Win32 errors, and keep you from getting an electronic infection.
The registry of your system can be a big cause of Win32 error messages, and keeping your registry clean and uncluttered will stop these error messages once and for all. The registry of your system may contain unneeded entries and keys, as well as fragments of programs which have been removed. These can cause problems with the Win32 API and other applications, and result in the dreaded error messages. The most effective way to clean your registry is to use a registry cleaner. These software programs are very easy and fast to use.
A registry cleaner takes just minutes normally, and the registry is cleaned safely, with no risk of system instability or crashes. This method is much more preferable than manual editing, which can take days or weeks to accomplish, and involves a high degree of risk. It is never recommended by professionals to manually edit the registry, because if an entry for the operating system is edited it may lead to a total and permanent loss of your system. A Registry Cleaner can put an end to Win32 errors immediately.

There’s little doubt that Hewlitt Packard printers are some of the best on the market today. Catering to home and office users with solid models that offer tons of features, the HP company is known for quality and affordability both - two things that don’t always go together. And while HP printers tend to be affordable, their ink replacement cartridges can be quite expensive.
Saving money on them is more than possible, however. There are a number of ways to do so. All it takes to find good deals is a little time and patience in finding the best buys. There are many outlets available for finding good buys on ink cartridge replacements, it’s just a matter of locating them and learning what works for you and what doesn’t.
Here are some ideas on how to save a little money while ensuring print quality remains high in the HP printer:
* Aftermarket ink cartridges can be very smart purchases. Found online and in some stores, HP cartridge replacements that are made by other companies can get the job done. Generally these ink cartridges are those that have been refurbished by the company that makes them. What this means is that old ink cartridges are recycled to be used again. The ink is replaced, the cartridge is resealed and labeled anew for resale. Depending on where aftermarket HP ink cartridges come from they can be very good purchases. Some companies that offer rehabbed replacements also offer warranties to ensure customer satisfaction. Plus, there are some companies that make brand new cartridges to fit different model printers.
* HP printer cartridge refill kits. These won’t work with every make and model, but when they do, they can be real steals. A refill kit allows you to do at home what a rehab company does. This means a single HP printer ink cartridge purchase can result in multiple uses over the life of the printer.
* Shop around for HP cartridge sales and even look at bulk purchases. If you watch retail stores, online outlets and other places that sell printer cartridges you might find some decent buys by going this route. Plus, you’ll be purchasing the HP product, so any fears that an aftermarket purchase won’t work quite right can be alleviated. Also consider bulk buys if you go through a lot. This might cost you more on the front end than a single cartridge, but the per cartridge prices could be greatly reduced.
Hp printer cartridge replacements are found in a number of locations. From online sites to regular big box retail stores, there are multiple options for those who need replacement cartridges to keep their printers up and running. Checking out the options can save you money on HP printer ink cartridge replacements.

Ink refills for inkjet printers have made the use of these printers more affordable than ever. When inkjet printers first arrived in the market place, the ink refills were only available from the same manufacturer that make the printer and were quite costly. Today, ink refill solutions have changed drastically.
The first major change that came about in the field of ink refills was the creation of non-OEM brand ink refills that fit most major inkjet printer brands. These third-party manufactured ink cartridges were exactly like those made by the name brand manufacturer and reduced the cost of ink refills by a noticeable amount. This helped lower the per page printing cost for use of these common home computer printers that are also often used in small business offices.
The second change arrived as a result of environmental awareness and the fact that millions of discarded ink cartridges were filling landfills around the world. Recycled ink refill cartridges arrived on the market as a result of manufacturers obtaining empty ink cartridges that were in perfectly good condition and refurbishing them into new condition, refilling the ink reservoir with new ink. This further reduced the cost per printed page and reduced the impact to the worlds environment of the massive quantity of printing being accomplished through the use of these printers.
Ink refill kits arrived on the market and gave the home user the option of refilling their own ink cartridges. For some people, this solution proved very viable and they found it easy to use these ink refills. Other users, however, found the process instructions difficult to follow and often made a mess of the entire process, creating stains on hands and clothing that can be difficult to remove. The customers who found they loved the ink refill kit option still use these as a means of extending the life of their ink cartridges. After about two or three ink refills, the cartridge itself needs to be replaced in order to operate properly, but this continues to reduce the cost per printed page greatly for those people who dont mind performing the ink refill process themselves.
Ink refills are becoming less and less expensive. The printer manufacturers have learned that customers will pay only within certain limits for the ability to color pages at their homes or small business offices and the market has been forced to respond to these customer demands.
If you need ink refills and have been using only name brand cartridges, you should definitely consider the less expensive ink refills that are available from third party manufacturers at a fraction of the cost of the OEM cartridge ink refills. You will most likely be just as pleased with the quality and notice no difference at all except the extra money that remains in your wallet.
If you are a a techie type, you may wish to try the do-it-yourself ink refills that are available at very low cost. Just be certain that you read the instructions carefully before beginning the process and follow each step exactly for the best results.
