Google AdSense: Where to Place Ads on Your Web Pages and a Profile of Bloggerparty

Adsense No Comments

Deciding where to place your Google ads on your web pages so that they will be most profitable, this is one of the best parts of the whole Google AdSense experience. No one else gets to make this decision except you. It’s your page. You get to decide how many (up to 3 ads per page), what colours and shapes you will use and on what part of the page the ad will be placed. Should you place your ads at the top or bottom, in the middle of the text, to the left or right?

The most important decision should be based on the needs of the visitors to your site? What are they looking for? Are they there to read or merely to browse? If they are there to read an entire article, say, you might try placing your ads at the bottom of the page so they will have something to do next. Some publishers swear by placing the ads at the top left of the page because they think customers look there first.

The fun thing is experimenting with all the possibilities. Try different ad locations and different colours for a week and note the differences in your reports. When you hit on something successful, you’ll see the difference.

Profile of bloggerparty for those who may want to use it for Google ads

Blogger party is another blog hosting website where you can make money with Google AdSense. You create an account and use the publisher id you got when you created your account. If you have not done that yet, that is the first step to making money with your blogs.

At bloggerparty, targeted Google ads will be displayed on your blog pages. Fifty percent of that time, the ads will have your Google publishers ID and the other fifty percent of the time they will have blogger party’s AdSense ID or split between them and the person who referred you. That’s right; referrals get 25% of the ad time, which comes out of blogger party’s share and not the original blogger’s or the referrals.

Blogger party promises ‘party points’ any time you write something or comment on someone else’s blog. They don’t do anything as yet, but later you will be able to trade them in for prizes according to blogger party’s admin.

Why do I need Google AdSense?

Because it’s there, it’s fun and it’s free. If you’re reading this, you obviously have some interest in the internet. You don’t even have to have your own site, although the more sites you use ads on, the more money you will make. For example, anyone can write a blog even if it’s just your own opinion on something.

You can also make money referring other people. By placing a referral button on your site you increase your earnings potential. When a publisher that you referred makes their initial $100.00 within 90 days of sign-up and is eligible for payout, your account will also be credited $100.00. Additionally, they must never have registered for an AdSense account before.

Don’t be intimidated by the html code. It’s already formatted. All you have to do is choose the language and kind of button you would like, and copy and paste the html code to your site. Look for the referral code and more information under support.

Adsense Secrets Exclusively Revealed

Adsense No Comments

I bet that title got your attention, right? Well I hate to tell you this but the truth is there are no Adsense secrets. It’s all nothing more than hype put about by various internet marketers who want you to buy their product.

Okay maybe that’s a little harsh as there are some very good Adsense guides out there, but the point I want to get across is that the real secret is that anyone can make money with Google Adsense. All you need to do is create a website or blog with quality content, display the Adsense ads in the most prominent places of every web page (ie where they will get the most clicks) and drive traffic to your site.

Sounds easy I know, but that’s all there is to it. The crucial part is getting traffic to your site. You can create a site with great content, with ad blocks in all the right places, but if no-one knows about it’s presence then you’re never going to get anyone visiting your site and clicking on your ads.

There are numerous ways of getting traffic to your site. These include things like exchanging links with other related sites, obtaining links from directories, posting on forums, creating blogs and linking to your site, writing articles and submitting them to article directories and ezine publishers, creating viral ebooks, and so on.

Once you have traffic to your site you can then start testing your Adsense clicks and ad placement to increase your earnings further. There’s no hard and fast rules that apply to every single site because every site has different layouts and will have different ‘hotspots’, so testing is vitally important if you want to increase your click-thru rate.

There are, however, a few things that you should consider to maximise your Adsense earnings.

Firstly, I would say that it’s always a good idea to make sure your ads blend in with your site as much as possible so they don’t look like separate ads. Remove any borders and background colors and use the same colour link text as the other links on your page.

Also, it’s always a good idea to place a large ad block above the fold so it’s viewed by your visitors as soon as they enter your website. In addition, I’ve always found that ads that are displayed within the actual content (about half way down the page) also do well, if the page contains a lot of content, or at the end of your content for shorter pages, so you give your visitors an opportunity to click on your ads when they’ve reached the bottom of the page.

I don’t personally like skyscraper ads, but as I’ve said before it’s all about testing. You may well find that for your own particular site layout, these ad blocks perform well and achieve high click-thru rates.

Other things you can do include tweaking the keyword density on each page to ensure that the right types of ads are displaying, as well as removing the ‘advertise on this site’ text (which Google allows at the time of writing).

Ultimately though it’s all about creating quality content on a regular basis, driving as much traffic as you possibly can to your sites using the various different methods of generating traffic, and testing different ad placements to obtain the maximum number of click-thrus. They’re the real Adsense secrets.

Tips To Get More From Adsense

Adsense No Comments

All webmasters and site owners who have been trying to earn from their sites must be aware of a monster called Adsense.

Adsense has presented a new and easy opportunity to earn money from your site. Adsense virtually allows any person who has built a content site or a blog to earn money, just by placing some code on their web pages. Adsense has given the ability to the web masters to concentrate on their sites rather than wasting time on trying to figure out what advertisements to put on their sites.

There are many web masters who make living on Adsense, but there are also many web masters who spend lot of time on figuring out the magic trick to earn from Adsense. Making a good living from Adsense might seem difficult but it is definitely not impossible.

Just placing Adsense code on your site is not enough if you are looking at Adsense as your only source of income. You need to experiment a lot with Adsense formats, placement and choice of keywords.

Whatever topic your site deals with, you should take care to build page around a specific topic. This ensures that the Adsense ads placed on the page, are relevant and useful to the visitors wanting to know more on the topic, and these visitors will eventually end up clicking the Adsense ad.

You should take care when placing your Adsense ads. If you read through Google help on Adsense, you will find the heat maps suggesting the best locations for your adverts. It is a proven fact that, one place the visitors look first on the site is the top left position. Since this is the place that will have the visitor’s attention, it definitely helps to place your Adsense ads there.

You should also consider placing the Adsense ads on high traffic pages. You will be able to identify the most visited pages on your site by looking at the logs or even your Google Analytics account, which provides you page by page details of visitors.

Though the banner and skyscrapers adverts look pretty good on your site, you should try to avoid using those on your site. Such banners are usually ignored by the visitors. Do you recollect clicking on any banner on a site you visited recently?

You should also use the Adsense formats to make sure your Adsense ads blend with your web pages. Google provides you different palettes to try font colors, backgrounds and borders. There is no point in placing an ad on the page which does not blend with your site and will effectively not be clicked by any visitor.

Another important factor ignored by most of the webmasters is the Adsense preview tool. Google provides with an excellent tool to help you preview the ads that appear on your page. This tool allows you to see the sample ads and formats, preview colors on your page, check the destination of the ads and geo targeted locations to see what visitors in other countries will see.

Besides the above mentioned factors, it is also important to have a definite focus on what you want to achieve. No matter how busy you are, you should always spare some time to experiment with the Adsense ads to improve the CTR. Whatever experts say, just following the basics, is really the magic of making more from Adsense.

Adsense And The Surfer

Adsense No Comments

AdSense is an easy program to grasp: it’s a great form of an advertising bringing a lot of benefits to every person in the chain. And of course, seeing the results it can have on a business (and a publisher) people encourage this form of publicity.

For the browsing audience this is probably the most straightforward model available, because they can be directed to a lot of new sites they wouldn’t have otherwise found. Needless to say, if you have an AdSense banner on your site, and a large number of visitors you’ll know it offers a great financial benefit.

But why does it work for the people clicking the links, as opposed to a standard approach?

It is aided by today’s society. With bloggers and information based articles on the internet, people may be encouraged to complete purchases, which adsense can provide links to relevant suppliers whilst also benefiting the publisher.

And the good thing about this is that it works for site visitors as well. In fact Google realized that by pleasing the people who are looking for something, and directing them to what they need faster, everybody wins.

It is because of this that a lot of websites promote through AdSense in both content and search. They do it because they ultimately learned that it works for everyone.

If we look in the past, we can realize that this kind of publicity has a great impact over the people, especially in the last few years. When we enter on a web site and we see a graphical banner, our first idea is to cancel it out of our mind, because it’s of no concern to us.

That’s why traditional banner advertising is wrong. It’s precisely because people are becoming savvy that they don’t look at a flashy banner because they think they’ll be losing their time with it.

We’ve gotten accustomed to banners that don’t interest us. And we’re accustomed to them having nice graphics. So we naturally associate the two things and think that a banner with nice graphics has nothing to tell us.

But we might look at a text-ad because we’ve grown accustomed to them being targeted at what we’re looking for. Basically these advertisements have marketed themselves into being looked at by any visitor.

This is a typical “no fluff, just stuff” situation. And in the end it means the visitors will see what they’re interested in, not some random cool graphics you throw at them.

As stated above, site visitors adopt this advertising mechanism, because it is efficient in leading them to pages of interest and can offer ton of things they really want to see. Someone coming across an article on adsense was probably looking for shoes or doing research on shoes when they came across the article.

And most importantly for everyone, including visitors, this scheme can only improve as the process gets further refined to make ads more relevant to what you’re looking for, not just a couple of keywords on a site.

Nowadays, it is because of AdSense that Internet surfers are looking after more interesting related things from banners, and the companies behind the site (Google and the advertiser) need to have better ideas to display, as expectations have increased a great deal.

So could “Do no evil” actually work in today’s cut throat competitive marketplace? Well, as you can see it can and it does. And you, as a visitor are the one who gets to enjoy this the most. Advertising becomes less of a burden and more of a benefit, and is still a benefit you can choose to ignore.

Less obtrusive banners; banners that you’re actually likely to be interested in and click means you’ll be less annoyed by surfing the web and feel like you as a visitor being offered a relevant service.

Although some may feel reluctant to read articles that are there purely to compel consumers, undoubtedly without this consideration they are useful. Ultimately the adverts mean that you don’t have to go back to your homepage every time you are compelled to complete a purchase.

Chronicles of Building an Adsense Site

Adsense No Comments

Three months ago I began the process of developing a website for the primary purpose of generating income from advertising. I had no idea of what it would take or how I would get there. It’s been an interesting journey.

I knew how Google’s Adwords worked. I had used the program in the past for other ventures. I had seen Adsense text links and a few image ads from Google too, but I always assumed that Google or the advertiser were paying the web sites to display their ads. I admit that I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why some companies would advertise on some of the cheesiest websites, but I really didn’t think about it that much. Through a series of articles similar to this one I learned about pay per click (PPC) advertising and I could do it too.

I added Adsense banner ads to a couple of sites I own just for fun. One of which is a personal/family web site that does not get but a few hits a week. I did it mainly to learn about how Adsense worked and how to add the code to a web page. I am not a web developer. I barely understand HTML, PHP and know nothing about Java Scripting. It was a good learning processes, but now I needed to figure out how to use it to generate income.

I spent several weeks learning the best way to generate income with Adsense is through web content. I don’t know if what is on my mind is interesting to anyone else or not, but I know I don’t have the time to develop thousands of articles. I know some people that I could pay to write for me and it wouldn’t be very expensive, but it will take time to produce that content and deliver it. I want to get started quickly. I read that duplicated content is not a good way to go, but I also discovered that many sites are just that. So I went searching for one of these Adsense sites in a box. I ended up purchasing two different programs. One from adsenseready.com and one from adsensepages.com; although they did provide thousands of pages I later became fairly disappointed in those products. Even though I’m using them today, I do not recommend them. The content in these sites is heavily duplicated, and I’ve found more then one vendor selling this same content so I’m sure this stuff is way oversold. I was going to scrap my little project all together at this point, but I decided to turn it into a learning lesson.

I followed the instructions that came with these two products and got my site started with some Adsense content. It took several weeks before any ads would show up and then a few more weeks before ads related to the content on the page appeared. I learned this is more a function of Google indexing the pages then the pages themselves. Then I learned that the articles are riddled with broken or improperly coded links that I needed to fix. I thankfully know a little about sed and other mass editors to I could script many of the fixes. This process still took over a month and I’m still working on it.

Despite what the marketing around these Adsense ready products, you can’t easily add or change affiliates. Pulling from an old programming trick, I developed my own method of controlling the advertisers on these sites. If you look and watch closely long enough I think you’ll figure out what I did. If you figure it out e-mail me. I’d like your input. I had to make many other changes and improvements too. I added some RSS feeds for recent news to one set of the products. I added an area for partner or reciprocal links. Which is about as important as it gets when it comes to generating traffic. I’m still researching the best reciprocal link partner sites.

In summary, building an Adsense empire isn’t as easy as most sites would have you believe.

Adsense, Adsense, Adsense. What They Don’t Tell You!

Adsense No Comments

Adsense? It’s all the rage so why is hardly anybody making any money from Adsense? There are more folk making $1 than $7,500 so what’s all the hype about?

Learning how to earn an income using Adsense is actually very simple. You can fork out your $50 or $100 and that’s the learning curve done with. It’s only a matter of placing the Adsense code in a certain position on your web pages. Even the experts have differing views on this so remember to buy a good Adsense tracker that will let you know exactly what’s happening on your pages.

Like everything else, it’s just adopting a consistent and methodical approach to your Adsense marketing.

The Huge problem that hardly anybody tells you about before you buy the Adsense product is that you really must have traffic to your site to make it work. Many people think that by being accepted for a Google Adsense account means that Google is going to send traffic your way. It doesn’t work like that. You are responsible for getting your own traffic.

So, like just about everybody else, you are now stuck with a $50 Adsense product, highly optimized web pages and, well, I guess a $50 Adsense product and highly optimized we pages!

It’s the old cart before the horse system and I fell foul of it myself so I can sympathize with you. Get traffic to your website first. Don’t get hung up on Adsense and don’t go spending money on ANY Adsense product until you have website visitors. I’m not talking a “flood” as the gurus like to call it but a nice gently trickle to start off with will do just fine.

As a side note you don’t actually have to buy any Adsense product. All the information is given on the Adsense help pages, the Adsense blog is great and the guys at Adsense support are really efficient and helpful. Buying an Adsense product does however make you feel more “comfortable” because you are doing what someone else is doing and if it works for them then it must work for you - right?

Work on getting traffic and building your list.

One of the best ways you can do this is to write and submit articles. It is probably the cheapest and most effective method to build your traffic, build your list and build your rankings in the Search Engines.

It won’t happen overnight but if done correctly it won’t take that long. Don’t get hung up on Google. It could take months to be indexed but article syndication builds those all important anchor text links back to your website which Google loves so you are preparing the ground.

Other Search Engines will probably pick you up very quickly and it is surprising where your link will be found. The smaller niche search engines will definitely index you and send a small amount of traffic and also provide a one way anchor text link.

If you don’t think you can write articles then think again and give it some serious consideration. Think of the fun you can have and the knowledge you can gain from researching new topics. The web will always be hungry for quality content.

The latest craze of producing 1000’s of sub-standard articles in seconds using software will be over before long as the search engines really don’t want this rubbish in their database.

Build your website with quality content, submit quality articles and watch your income soar - and it doesn’t have to be with Adsense!

How Does Google Smart Pricing Affect AdSense Publisher?

Adsense No Comments

What is Google Smart Pricing? Google Smart pricing is designed to help advertisers to improve the effectiveness of their advertising campaign over Google content network. As a result, Google is making less money since the cost to advertisers is reduced in order to provide a strong ROI. Indirectly, smart pricing affects the earnings of AdSense publishers because they are paid lesser.

Unfortunately, smart pricing is not just affecting publisher’s earning on one AdSense site, it affects the entire AdSense account. Regardless of the high performance of other AdSense sites across the AdSense account, if one of your AdSense sites is smart priced, all of your AdSense sites will be affected.

AdSense publishers are earning less because of the low cost-per-1000-impressions (CPM). You could find AdSense publishers revealing their CPM in a forum when their accounts have been smart priced. They normally have low CPM ranging from $1.50 to $5. However, low CPM does not necessary implied that your account has been smart priced. AdSense sites in lower earning niche generally have lower CPM.

What can AdSense publishers do to avoid being smart priced? The best way to ensure your AdSense site is not affected by smart pricing is to create a good environment for advertisers and your readers. Creating compelling content for your targeted readers is as important as providing good user experience on your site. The more targeted traffic to your AdSense site, the better quality clicks for advertisers.

Some AdSense publishers maintain good quality AdSense sites as well as “less than quality” sites under a single AdSense account. They are facing the risk of getting their AdSense account smart priced because any of the “less than quality” AdSense site does not perform well could be smart priced easily. The increase in revenue of putting these “less than quality” websites could be less than the loss of revenue due to smart pricing on the entire AdSense account.

The smart pricing system should not only be viewed as a system to protect the interests of AdWord advertisers. It is also a system that indirectly benefits quality AdSense sites in the long term. The smart pricing system could force some AdSense publishers to drop those “low quality” sites. Perhaps with more quality sites, this could boost the advertisers’ confidence to advertise in Google content network. Hence, it will bring more competition for keywords. Eventually, AdSense publishers will benefit from the high paying keywords.

Making Google Adsense Pay

Adsense No Comments

From what I am reading in online forums and discussion boards, Google adsense is still ruling the roost, in terms of popularity, for those wanting to start earning money from home.

I personally, have Google adsense ads on most of my websites and I find that even with the lowest of daily impressions an income can be earned. Ok you won’t make a fortune with a few hits per day but if you are constantly building websites and optimizing them for adsense then the income can REALLY add up.

A few of my most recent websites are only getting 10-20 impressions per day but really high click through rates. Some days I can earn $2-$3 per site for a couple of clickthroughs from these low traffic sites. This denotes HIGH interest from advertisers paying big bucks to Google for certain keywords.

Unbelievably, many entrepreneurs are earning six figure incomes per month from adsense revenue alone.

The smart earners are building site after site then building out the ones that show potential.

The idea is to set up sites in relatively unknown markets but also balanced with some interest in the advertising field. For instance, if you choose a niche with little or no interest from advertisers then the income will reflect this lack of interest, ie. no one will be paying google for advertising in your niche or they will be paying very little and you will earn pittance per click thru.

One site of mine in an obscure niche gets hundreds of unique visitors per day and loads of adsense clickthrus, yet the income is only a dollar or two daily. This tells me that advertisers are paying very little, probably in and around 10 cents, for keywords in my niche.

At the other end of the spectrum you DO NOT want to choose a niche with so much competition that you cannot get any traffic at all. The ‘work at home’, ‘home business’, ‘internet marketing’ niches are not good examples for a newcomer to make money from Google adsense. The competition is just too great. If you DO already have an established home business site then by all means add some adsense ads to your site.

Like everything else I have done online I have learnt through trial and error, Google adsense has been no different. If you don’t put the ads out there then you will never know the potential.

I do get some clickthrus from my home business sites and the click thru rates can be anything from 10-15 cents to $1-2. Not bad!

Google adsense is definitely here to stay for the forseeable future and we can all see why. If you have any vision at all you can see the potential in earning from Google adsense and exactly why it has become so popular.

Google Adsense and the Power of Duplication

Adsense No Comments

So you get online, set up a Google Adsense website and watch the dollars roll in? Wrong! The top earners in the Google Adsense field are earning the big, big money by duplicating the process over and over.

A friend of mine saw the Google Adsense ads on my site a few days ago and was querying if that was how I made my money. He couldn’t understand how these small ads could amount to a full-time online income and the fact is that they DO NOT, well not in isolation anyway.

Before we get into the nitty gritty, the truth is that at this point in time I am not making a great amount with Google Adsense but that is about to change because I am absolutely aware of and convinced in the power of DUPLICATION.

I am an affiliate marketer, I promote numerous affiliate programs throughout the Internet Marketing Niche. Some make me a few dollars per month and some a few hundred in residual income. I also sell affiliate products through Google Adwords and am duplicating this process across multiple markets. I’ll not mention some of the niches here for obvious reasons:-). The point is that if I didn’t duplicate what I know to work across many different programs and service I would still be pen pushing in my former offline 9-5 job.

Even this article is one of countless others. The power comes from consistently doing the things that work over and over and over again.

Getting back to Adsense, what I realise is that everyone I speak to about it ARE NOT setting up unique sites and then settling for this income. They are setting up 100s, sometimes even 1000s of sites. Then when certain markets prove more profitable than others, as they most certainly will, the smart people are building great networks of smaller sites around these niches AND linking them all together.

Can you see the power of duplication at work here?

The point of building many sites is that sooner or later you are going to hit the mark. It doesn’t cost much to set up a domain and have it hosted. Plus there is software available that will literally create 100s of blogs in minutes from your top keywords.

The “clued in” inernet marketers making the moola are those that have taken action in the above way. I myself am guilty at times of looking at a plan and just not having the power to take it through to the end. This I believe is what happens to many when they even comtemplate creating 100s of sites.

The sad fact is that if you don’t get of your backside and at least create one site then you are NEVER going to make Internet Marketing your full-time career.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will your Google Adsense Empire.

Can I Really Earn Money With Articles and Adsense

Adsense No Comments

The question regarding making money using articles and adsense has been asked many times. The doubters will tell you that it’s not possible. If that were true, there would not be so many people making their living writing articles for their Adsense sites.

In order to make money with Adsense, you need to find a profitable niche. When you are just starting out, you should pick a niche that you have some interest in. By doing this you will be more interested and it will not be quite as challenging for you to write your articles. If you are interested in gardening, you could write articles about different plants, soil conditions, watering, the best planting times or even about those pesky insects that invade your garden. The possibilities are limitless. When you become more comfortable writing articles and have your site profiting for you, you might then try a niche that is new to you. Go to the search engines and do a search for whatever niche you want to try and research that topic. You might find that you have more of an interest in that topic than you thought.

When writing your articles, be precise, be informative, and by all means, don’t tell them the same thing that everyone else is telling them. Make your articles new and interesting. Give them unique content. Don’t write one or two articles and think that will be enough. You need to keep writing, keeping your site full of fresh content. Don’t forget to put your name and website address at the end of your article in the resource box. As you write articles that are interesting, other website may pick up your article and publish it on their site or in their newsletter, thereby driving additional traffic to your site.

By keeping your content fresh and informative, the search engines will spider your site more often. The search engines love new and unique content. They will make numerous trips to your site if you keep adding to it. The more often they visit, the higher in the ratings you can go.

You need to also submit your articles to the article directories. Each article directory has its own submission guidelines so before you submit be sure to check their guidelines out. Make sure your resource box is included with the article when you submit it. Without this resource box, readers will not know who wrote the article or how to get more information from your site. These visitors will also help increase your search engine ratings.

When you sign up for Google’s Adsense program, they will place Adsense ads on your site that are directly related to the topic that you are writing about. Google does this work for you. When a visitor clicks on one of the ads, you are paid for that click. The amount you are paid depends on what the advertiser is paying for that ad and only Google knows that. The more traffic that comes to your site, and the higher your click through rate (CTR) is, the more money you can make.

It’s not as hard as it may appear. The hardest part is getting started and keeping the momentum going. Don’t give up. It can take several weeks for your site to get traffic. The most important thing though is to keep the articles going to your site. If you want, you can also ad articles written by others, just be sure to include their resource box.

Is Contextual Advertising with Adsense Dead?

Adsense No Comments

Perhaps you’ve heard the cries lately that contextual advertising with Adsense and similar programs is “dead”. This is the rallying cry of those who point out that recent policy changes for contextual advertisers significantly undermined the profit potential of thousands upon thousands of websites. Granted, some of those were legitimate websites, but most were “junk sites”.

Let’s look at the facts. What was recently done with contextual advertising programs was to establish separate bid structures for the Search and Content networks. The Search network is ads that turn up on the search engine results pages when you do a search engine search. The Content network is the ads that show up on web sites.

Prior to late 2005, prices were the same, so that advertisers who paid top dollar for certain search terms were also required to pay the same amount for click-throughs from ads they chose to simultaneously run on the Content network (which was optional).

The net result of the 2005 change was to dramatically cut into the income of many an owner of a machine-generated site. It had become very popular to buy a page generator for a few hundred dollars, “scrape” a bunch of content (either articles from public directories, or the search results straight from major search engines), and create a machine-generated “website” consisting of thousands of pages of duplicate content.

Nothing was new or unique, and the sites didn’t really serve the needs of site visitors. Two people using the same software and keyword list would generate essentially identical sites, with relatively minor differences, if any. So the search engine powers that be did two things. They changed the TOS of their advertising programs, and on the search side, they began a massive de-indexing of those machine-generated sites.

Then, in July of 2006, along came what has become known as the “Google Slap”, wherein the minimum bid structure on the Content networks was raised for any website that did not achieve high enough “quality”, based, among other things, on whether a website had unique content, and standard things such as a privacy policy and the contact information of the site owner.

Hardest hit were site owners who were buying traffic to “sites” that were little more than a squeeze page, but one-page sales letter sites were also hit hard, as were folks who were using “arbitrage” to buy inexpensive traffic and send it to a page that had higher paying contextual ads on it, hoping to profit from the revenue/cost difference.

So … is Adsense (and similar programs) dead? Nope. All that is “dead” is the days when you could buy a $200 software program, generate hundreds of thousand-page “websites” per day, and expect each of them to in turn rake in your initial $200 investment on a daily or weekly basis. If you build high quality content sites that offer visitor value and unique, original content, contextual advertising is far from “dead”.

You can also use other forms of monetization on your sites. Things like affiliate links, building an email list to sell your own or affiliate products, and lead generation for CPA offers work as well or better than ever. Recent events are a wakeup call to all of us not to put our eggs in one basket, and not to invest too heavily in the latest fad. As always, Content is King.

Google Adsense: How to Explain the Google Adsense Program to Others

Adsense No Comments

We are not talking about strangers here. For the strangers that visit your site, your content will have to do all the talking for you. But for the people in your daily life, the ones you want to click on your referral button, the ones you want to read and comment on your blog; these are the ones you want to be able to enlighten about the Google Adsense program.

First, excitement breeds excitement. Get excited about your new venture and others will too. Learn everything you can about the Google Adsense program, not only will this increase your earnings, but you will be better equipped to explain the mechanics of the program to others.

Show them the money. There’s nothing like a little proof to make a believer out of someone. You do not have to wait until you’re making thousands per month, although that’s a healthy goal. But even a small deposit in your piggy bank is enough to intrigue most people. Can’t you just count those referrals now?

Google Adsense: Dos for Using the Google Adsense Program

Google Adsense is a fun and easy way to make extra money. It’s important to follow the rules though as Google is serious about the integrity of this program. Not following the rules could result in your Google Adsense account being terminated. Here are a few Dos for using the program:

DO

Read the Terms and Conditions and Program Policies thoroughly.

Read everything you can about Google Adsense. Learn from other’s experiences and mistakes.

Learn how to optimize your site for the most enjoyable and profitable Google Adsense experience. Realize it does take some time and hard work. That’s why it is so important that you write about something you care about. Hard work is even harder if you do not like what you are doing.

Visit other sites that are benefiting from Google Adsense. Click on the ads only if you are truly interested in the product or service being advertised. Read other people’s blogs and comment on them. Only offer a comment though if it is truly sincere.

Hopefully, these helpful tips will ease you into using the program and help you avoid mistakes that could possibly cost you a lot of time or money.

Making Money with Articles: Letting Others Use Your Articles

Let others use your articles, along with your byline which will tell visitors who wrote it and how they can contact you, on their website. This will help to promote your own website and bring you in traffic through the search engine optimization and promotional efforts of others. For you this means absolutely free marketing just for writing a quick article about a subject that you are already familiar with. The more people who use your article as content as their website, the more potential traffic you will receive. These webmasters will probably be using SEO techniques, banner exchanges, and possibly even a Pay-Per-Click campaign to get visitors to their affiliate site. These are advertising methods that either take a lot of time or a lot of money and they will be absolutely free for you just because you placed your articles where others could use them. There are many places on the Internet that offer to post your article so that others may view and/or use it. My advice is to place your articles on every single one of these sites so that you can reach as many webmasters as possible.

Google Adsense: Learning About the Program and the Most Important Rule

Adsense No Comments

How Does Google Adsense Program Work For Webmasters Wanting to Earn Income?

Advertisers pay Google when someone clicks on their ads which are placed on pages that contain text. For example, if you write content about lawn mowers, you will likely see ads from lawn mower manufacturers and/or retailers on that page. When someone clicks on those ads, the advertiser pays Google and Google pays you. Of course, the advertiser is hoping the person that clicked on the add will actually purchase the lawn mower or whatever they’re offering.

In fact, Google is very strict about the integrity of this process. You are forbidden to click on your own ads. If you do, your Adsense account will be terminated and you might never get it back. You are also prohibited from asking others to click on
“your ads”. It makes sense. Why would advertisers want to pay just so your friends and family could click on your ads when no one is really interested in purchasing the lawn mower or subject of the ad.

The good news is that it’s
not necessary to “cheat.” Google Adsense is so easy you’ll make more money just going by the rules. Have or write interesting content that will turn up in search engines and you have “targeted” the right people to read those ads. Just think, somebody in Indiana buys a lawn mower and you get a commission!

What Not to Tell Others About the Google Adsense Program- The Most Important Rule

Sympathy only goes so far. Not only is it against the Google Adsense Program Policies but if you rely on friends and family members to click on your ads instead of diligently working the program, you’re cheating yourself, and the Google Adsense Program.

The “help me out” wail may work when your kid is selling outrageously expensive candles for the end of the year school party but it has no place in the Google Adsense Program.

Besides, if you’re asking people to click on your ads, that means you’re not optimizing your site for valid clicks as well as referrals. Use that same energy to polish your content and your site. When family and friends ask what you’ve been up to, you can proudly show them your hard work. When they see how excited you are, you’ll see your referral revenue go up.

Google Adsense: When Do I Get Paid Using Google Adsense?

Google Adsense pays you approximately 30 days after the end of the month in which you become eligible to receive payment. You become eligible for payment only when your Adsense account reaches at least $100.00. Suppose, for example, you started in January and at the end of the month you had not yet accumulated $100.00 in your Google Adsense account. You would then need to wait and see if your January and February earnings combined equal $100.00. If they do, you would be paid approximately 30 days after the end of the month of February, that is, you could expect payment near the end of March.

Another good reason to also use Adsense for Search is that you get to combine the earnings to reach the $100.00 payout minimum. So if your earnings for Adsense for Content do not reach $100.00 in time for the current payout, but when combined with your Adsense for Search earnings they do meet the payout minimum, you will be paid accordingly.

Google Adsense: Understanding Image Ads and Making Google Adsense Dollars

Adsense No Comments

What are image ads?

Image ads are graphical ads. Unlike traditional banner ads, image ads are also targeted to the appropriate audience, just like text ads. A publisher that has a combination of image ads and text ads has a greater revenue generating potential.

Image ads are only for Adsense for Content pages and not available for Adsense for Search results pages.

There are 5 major formats of image ads. The Leaderboard, which is about twice the size of a banner ad, the banner image ad, the skyscraper, the wide skyscraper and the medium rectangle. Google’s technology determines on a page by page basis whether image ads, text ads, or a combination of both will make you more money and then delivers the appropriate format.

You can choose to run only image ads, but Google recommends selecting both, thereby giving them a better chance to target the right advertising for your page, generating more revenue for you.

Bottom line: taking these two methods together will give you the best chance at making the most revenue.

How to Make Google Adsense Dollars at Writingup.com

To get started blogging at writingup.com, first you’ll need to create a Google Adsense account. If you’ve already done that, you’ll just give them the same publisher id you got when you originally signed up with Google Adsense. Since you can only have one Google Adsense account, you will always use the same publisher id on every site you add. Next, you’ll create an account at writingup.com and within minutes, start blogging!

You still have to follow the Google Adsense rules as to the type of content not acceptable but other than that you have carte blanche as to what to write about in your blog. Paste your writingup.com URL into your email signature and every time you send someone an email, you will be referring them to your blog, thus increasing your traffic on writingup.com.

Comment on other publisher’s blogs. If you interact with the blogging community, you are more likely to have your blog read more often. Again, traffic.

Writingup.com has a list of successful topics you can write about. You don’t have to choose from that list of course, but it’s quite extensive and if you look it over, you’ll probably find something that interests you. They are successful topics because they turn up in search engines a lot. More traffic.

Google Adsense: Google Adsense Themed Ad Units Can Brighten Up Your Holidays

What are Themed Ad Units. Simple. They are ads that have special colors and graphics to celebrate the season! For instance, you might see your ad with orange print with a picture of a black cat for Halloween. How about red print with a green mistletoe for Christmas?

The Themed Ad Units are specifically tailored to users in the appropriate locations as determined by their IP address. For instance, a user in the United States might see colors and graphics appropriate to the Fourth of July while users everywhere could see colors and graphics for New Years Day.

Again, it’s your choice and your page. You can turn Themed Ad Units on or off by yourself. Just log in to your account, go to the My Account tab. On the Account Settings page, scroll down to the Ad Type Preferences section and click Edit. You can now enable or disable the Themed Ad Units. Click save changes and Voila! Your selection will apply to all your Google Adsense Ads.

Earn Money with Google Adsense and Wordpress

Adsense No Comments

If you have a business in online marketing using Google Adsense and affiliate marketing then you should consider using Wordpress as a basis for your site.

Wordpress is a blogging platform that can also be used as a Content Management System (CMS). Getting content online with Wordpress is quick and easy, and managing your content is a breeze.

Wordpress has an administration panel known as ‘dashboard’ which allows you to write and manage posts and pages in a simple wordprocessor like fashion. Dashboard also allows you to manage categories and all other aspects of your site.

The really great thing about using Wordpress as a basis for your adsense website is how customizable it is. Many thousands of different templates (or ‘themes’) are freely available to Wordpress users, and many of these include adsense blocks in optimal positions for maximizing your clickthrough rate. This means that creating an adsense website can be as simple as uploading a adsense ready theme to your server. This leaves you with more free time to concentrate on writing quality content for your website!

Some Wordpress themes that include adsense ad units and link units are also Search Engine Optimized (SEO), which means that the pages of your site are constructed in the best way possible for search engine spiders, and also the pages are interlinked in such a way as to ensure the search engines can reach all pages of your site in the correct manner.

Wordpress also ‘pings’ many services for you through pingomatic each time you create a new post. This alerts the search engines to the fact that you have created new content and tells them to send the search engine spiders out to index your site. RSS feeds and sitemaps can also be generated automatically.

As Wordpress is a blogging platform it has built in functionality to allow visitors to your site to comment on the articles you write. This is great as it encourages user interaction and site ’stickyness’. Another often overlooked advantage to this is that your readers are creating more content on your website each time they leave a comment!

Thousands of ‘plugins’ are available for Wordpress - plugins bring extra functions to your site and are quick and easy to install. One super-useful plugin for affiliate marketers automatically turns words into links. It is easy to create a list of affiliate links and words that you would like them associated to.

Wordpress is the adsense and affiliate webmasters best friend!

Google Adsense: How to Apply for the Program and Important Info on Paying Taxes

Adsense No Comments

Nowadays, more and more people are starting their own websites or blogs. Whilst it is relatively inexpensive, with thousands of cheap hosting companies to be found, it seems a waste not to put your site to work properly for you and earn some proper cash from it

Applying for a Google AdSense account is quick and easy for any interested webmaster. Just point your browser to google.com and click on apply. Click on the drop down arrow under account type and select individual or business. If you are not sure which to choose, simply click on the question mark to the left. Next, select your country or territory.

Under website information, you are asked to insert your primary URL. If you have your own website, list it here e.g. yoursite.com. If you are using a blogging site such as blogger.com your blog URL goes here.

Now you need to select your website`s primary language. Google AdSense supports Chinese (simplified), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish (so there’s just about something for everyone!)

Next you should select the product you want on your pages. AdSense for Content means you will have advertising targeted to the content on your pages. For example, if your website or blog is about wooden garden fencing, you might have fencing ads on your page. AdSense for Search allows you to add a Google search box to your pages (see example below). To maximize your Google AdSense earnings, I would advise you to have both.

You just need to complete the usual contact information and you`re done. You should receive an email within two or three days informing you whether your application has been approved. N.B. Many of you may have bought or acquired ready to go websites that include a Google AdSense version and a non-Google AdSense version, my advice would be to upload the non-Google AdSense version first and then use this to apply for AdSense. When Google check out your site for approval it could hamper your chances of being accepted if you have Google AdSense coding already on your site.

Do I Have to Pay Taxes on My Google AdSense Earnings?

Google Adsense is required by law to collect tax information from those who participate in the program. If you are a business, you will be asked to insert your EIN number on your application. If you are an individual, you will be required to insert your social security number. If you do not have this information when you initially sign up you can still apply for the Google AdSense program. However, Google AdSense will withhold payments to you until they receive the required information.

While Google does not withhold taxes or provide any tax advice, they will send you a 1099 once your earnings reach a certain figure. Of course, if you are a Non-US business and have no business activity in the United States, you will not need to provide this information. For further tax information regarding the Google AdSense program, visit the Google AdSense Support site. For other tax-related questions or concerns, you can log onto irs.gov

What To Do When Your Adsense Revenue Sucks

Adsense No Comments

Getting paid for Adsense Ad clicks is a very popular monetization model for many website owners. There’s just one problem…most websites earn very little money from Adsense and their owners can’t seem to do much about it

So, how do you ‘really’ increase your adsense revenue?

Here is the question I get a lot from my coaching students…

How can I increase my Adsense income when the only pages I rank well for in the search engines have low value keywords on them?

In other words, my site ranks well for little used keywords, but hardly registers at all for pages containing high value keywords that attract high Adsense click amounts.

A great question, and here’s the solution.

Build lots of pages that you can rank well for in the Search Engines (using high profitability keywords from say Wordtracker) and then use the content you write to send people to other articles on your site that promote these high value high cost-per-click Adsense ads.

For example, at the end of an article on a page with an easier-to-rank-well-for keyword, put a note that says -

‘Readers who liked this article on Making Your House A Welcoming Home have told us they also enjoyed our article on Building A Financial Fortress Around Your Assets because they had no idea that they were at such a risk of losing everything they’d worked so hard for.’

…and include a link to another article on a page containing Adsense ads for asset protection, financial planners, lawyers and associated services that have a very high value per click.

This way you don’t have to rank well for the most popular keyword phrases in your niche, but your visitors still get to click on your high value ads earning you higher Adsense revenue and making you much happier about your website’s performance :-)

And of course, remember that once you have your subscriber’s name and email address, you can write articles containing high value keywords with good Adsense click payouts and then direct your readers to those pages in your newsletter.

That way, your subscribers have to visit the page you want them to go to in order to read your article. If they click on one of your Adsense ads, you’ll earn a good commission…

When you have your visitor’s name and email address, you’re in the drivers seat instead of just hoping people visit the pages with the high value keywords on them. You have a lot more control over what your readers see and where they go when they are on your website.

Hope is not a business strategy. You have to plan your visitor’s experience, and having their name and email address is the best place to start…

To sum up…

1. Getting every visitors’ name and email address into your database is a pivotal part of turning your website into a profitable business. It is the one goal you should focus on above all else…it’s that important!

2. Create the path you want your visitors to take as they move through your website and control their experience by directing them to where you want them to go.

3. Build a long term relationship with your readers and they will reward you with a lifetime income stream that just keeps growing as you do less and less work every week.

Say Goodbye to A Penny A Day AdSense Earnings Forever

Adsense No Comments

AdSense earnings are the lifeblood of many internet marketers and the metaphorical thorn in the side for others. Often, despite their best efforts, some webmasters simply can not generate substantial AdSense earnings, and to be constantly bombarded with the success stories of others has moved beyond inspiring into irritating. Fortunately, many successful marketers are now sharing genuinely successful strategies for success in internet marketing, particularly using AdSense. If you have been frustrated with seemingly accidental AdSense earnings, this is the time to move beyond that frustration into success.

True success, be it on the internet or and other venture, is simply taking a systemic approach to problems repeatedly. Specifically, internet marketers must decide what they need (or want) to do, develop a realistic plan of action, make any number of attempts to find success using the plan, reach success, and then repeat the process. While some professionals are well known as being highly skilled in many fields, this is not the path for most of us. Find what works and repeat - again, and again, and again.

Finding a Purpose

To begin a new venture in hopes of greater AdSense earnings, it is important to find a purpose other than simply the monetary rewards. Internet customers are savvy and will see right through any simple money making schemes. To be successful, it is important to create a site or blog with personal interest. Your work should be in an area where you can devote the time and effort to feel true ownership of that material and to pass that feeling of ownership onto your visitors.

If you create blogs or sites which reflect your own passion or interests, the quality of the material produced will automatically be superior to the websites designed specifically for moneymaking schemes. Repeat visitors are every webmaster’s dream, but you must give those visitors and readers something to come back to. Passionate and informed content is required for this purpose.

Making a Plan

If you have determined your purpose, it is time to develop a course of action. Presumably, you have an idea of your website’s overall function and the topics which the site will contain, but it is important to match your ideas with the marketplace. Industry and market research should be the basis of the planning stage. Remember, your plan should be about building the website, not simply about AdSense earnings.

Quantity is assured throughout the industry, but a high-quality website will launch ahead of almost eighty percent of the competition. Research the gaps within industry niches and streamline your general ideas and topic into one of those gaps. If there is an existing need, your website will be positioned strongly simply by the economics of supply and demand.

You can locate gaps and niches by studying and selecting the most relevant keywords to optimize for your site, and by studying the competition. Remember, there is no purpose in doing what everyone else is doing. Find a way to approach an industry or topic differently and more effectively than the competition.

Try, Try Again

The purpose is in place, and the plan is sound. Be aware that even the best plan might take some time to get off the ground. It is more common to fail in business than to succeed, so don’t let discouragement set in. If your first, third, or tenth attempt proves to be less than desirable all around, including AdSense earnings, find the areas that are having some success, build those up, and tweak the nonperformance areas for improvement.

It is easy to fall into the trap of providing low or moderate quality content in hopes of being spidered more quickly or tapping into the benefits of page rankings. Remember, however, that customers will not come back if there is nothing for them to come back to. Write for people, not machines. Prepare meaningful content, not something so laden with keywords it no longer makes sense. Spiders don’t click through ads generating your desired AdSense earnings, faithful readers do. Make the site for your readers, and you will be well ahead of the rest of the pack.

Mastery

If you have committed yourself to creating quality material with a genuine value and purpose for your readers, everything will fall into place. To speed the process along, you should always do a bit of public relations and marking for your new creation in the form of press releases and article distribution. This is especially true if your website is primarily article or blog based.

What better way to showcase the quality of your material than by distributing it for others? Build the website with a specific purpose in mind, other than your AdSense earnings of course, and if you follow through on the commitment to excellence, success will follow. Your website will gain popularity through more important means than simple searches in the search engines. Word of mouth and recognition for other notables within the industry will drive the success of your program, and the monetizing attempts you’ve included, such as AdSense earnings, will simply grow with the site.

Repeat

Success indicates a solid business model. The tracking you’ve done throughout the discovery process is now crucial to repeating that success. Maintain the same goal of material with genuine value, but take your plan to the next interest.

Isolate a few keywords within another interest or passion, and use your business plan to drive the new niche to success. As each website or blog develops a following, AdSense earnings will grow along with the site’s popularity. Each additional success will simply add to your arsenal of high-quality, heavily trafficked, monetized websites, and you will bask in the warmth of success at last.

AdSense Profit From Google AdWords

Adsense No Comments

Advertisements collected through Google AdWords system are shown on AdSense websites. When an AdSense publisher starts to buy traffic through Google AdWords for his AdSense site, he becomes an AdSense arbitrager. AdSense arbitrage is one of the AdSense business strategies that publishers could implement to make AdSense profit.

Is AdSense arbitrage a fraud to Google? No, Google allows AdSense arbitrage. As a matter of fact, the more AdSense arbitrage, the more Google could make from AdWords.

The success of AdSense arbitrage depends on the amount spend on traffic and the profits AdSense arbitrager gets from AdSense so long the cost of buying traffic does not exceed the earnings from the AdSense.

AdSense arbitragers need to make good profit from AdSense to cover the cost. One way to boost AdSense profit is by creating contents with high paying keywords. These contents normally get ads that pay higher. Therefore, high paying keywords are necessary for a successful AdSense arbitrage.

Keyword research tools such as Digitalpoint Keyword Suggestion Tool are used to locate the most searched keywords. With these keywords, AdSense arbitragers can obtain a list of high paying keywords using Google AdWords. By maximizing bid for each keyword, arbitragers can obtain the estimated highest cost per click (CPC) for each keyword.

However, the estimated highest CPC of each keyword obtained from AdWords does not reflect the real competition for that keyword. The highest bid price could be raised by one advertiser whereas majority advertisers are bidding for the same keyword at lower price. Besides, the estimated highest CPC could not reflect the true CPC of each keyword at regional level. Cost per click in different regions can be different as the competition for the same keyword in each region varies. Nonetheless, based on this list of highest CPC, AdSense arbitragers are able to discover the potential market for arbitrage.

AdSense arbitragers will then build a website targeting a set of chosen high paying keywords. Proper use of meta tags, title text and good quality content would increase the relevancy of ads and hence help the website to get high paying ads.

Low paying keywords from the most searched keywords list are used in the AdWords campaign drive traffic to the new website. AdSense arbitragers can include as many low paying keywords as possible in AdWords campaign and start each keyword with a minimum bid.

Run the AdWords campaign for a week or two to get the average earning per click. Increase the bid price or broaden the low paying keywords list if it can increase your AdSense arbitrage profits. Many other form of paid traffic can be used for AdSense arbitrage. Many smaller pay per click search engines could bring decent traffic collectively for less money.

AdSense arbitrage depends on high click through rate (CTR). Well position and well blended-in ads will induce high click through rate. Quality contents that provide values will attract quality audiences. These targeted audiences are more likely to turn into customers for advertisers. The higher quality audience your website sends to advertiser’s site, the less likely it would be smart priced.

The success of arbitrage can be shattered by unpredictable click through rate and fluctuation of keyword value. The cost spent on AdWords could easily exceed the profit from AdSense. The arbitrage process has to be monitored closely and constantly.

To capitalize the efforts and money spent on paid traffic, other form of monetized techniques such as affiliate marketing or name capturing form should be used to target those non converted AdSense audiences. With these mechanisms in place, efforts and money spent on paid traffic would not be wasted.

Top Paying Adsense Keywords - It’s Not Just About The Keywords

Adsense No Comments

Google adsense has been a magnificent way for webmasters to increase their revenue because they can turn their traffic into money. The more traffic you have, the more potential you have for earning money.

Many sites on the Internet, including mine, give out information on the top paying adsense keywords. These are the keywords that have been bid on the most on Google Adwords or Miva etc. It must be said though that the figure advertisers are bidding for these keywords is nowhere near what you will receive as a webmaster.

For example, let’s take the keyphrase “Car Insurance”. Advertisers are bidding between $42.53 - $53.95 for this keyphrase. Before you work out roughly how much you could earn, you need to do the following:

1. Make sure that your website contains lots of content surrounding your chosen keyword. Do not put in the keyphrase hundreds of times; just make sure that you have evenly ’sprinkled’ your phrase in your content. It needs to read well, and it needs to be informative to your visitors.
2. Make sure that your keyphrase is in your main heading
3. Make sure, if you can, that your keyphrase is your subheading. For numbers 2 & 3, you can add other words to your heading and subheading, but just make sure that your phrase is within it.
4. Make sure that if you have any images relating to your keyphrase, that the ‘alt text’ contains that phrase.

Right, now that you have ensured the above, you have increased the chances of earning top money when Google Adsense ads are placed and clicked on your website.

The general rule for working out how much you could expect to earn is to take the average Google Adwords CPC (i.e. - how much they are bidding for your keyphrase of interest), divide it by 2, and then divide that figure by 10.
The amount you get left with is a conservative figure for what you could expect to earn.

For example; the average CPC for car insurance is approximately $48.24.
$48.24 / 2 = $24.12
$24.12 / 10 = $2.41

As I just mentioned, this is an extremely conservative figure, but it is a lot more realistic that you will earn $2.41 when you start advertising for this keyphrase to begin with. It is very likely, as I will explain below, that this figure will increase if your site receives lots of traffic, has a high page ranking, and is therefore reputable to Google.

You must remember that Google knows if your website has just appeared up overnight, and there is no way that the top bidders’ adverts for your chosen keyphrase will be put up on your site. That makes sense though, because if you were an advertiser bidding $50 say for car insurance, you wouldn’t want your highly priced ad to appear on an overnight site, you would much prefer that it appeared on a very popular and reputable site.
Therefore, what you need to bear in mind is that as your site increases in popularity and page ranking, you will gradually get higher priced ads appearing on your site, which means that you will increase your earnings potential.

Many of these websites offering the top paying adsense keywords fail to mention these points, and many webmasters often become confused when they are only earning a few dollars per click instead of $50, which they were led to believe.

I hope this article has helped you understand a little bit more about Google Adsense. There is definitely a lot of money to be earnt from this opportunity, but these things take time and effort. If they didn’t, wouldn’t you be suspicious?

High Paying Adsense Keywords

Multiply Your Adsense Sites Fast - 9 Times The Size! (White Hat)

Adsense No Comments

It’s true, you really can make ANY / ALL of your sites 9 times bigger within minutes. And this is not some underhand trick that will see your rankings nosedive.

Very much the opposite in fact.

Imagine turning a small 10 page site into 100 pages with all new relevant content with 9 times the internal links! The internal links alone will boost your search engine ranking never mind the new content that is created.

Now how much more traffic will you receive? ;)

I’ll get straight to the point this is very straight forward. It simply involves translating your site into 9 other languages AUTOMATICALLY and easily. You don’t need to use an expensive translation service. Keep reading you’ll be glad you did.

These extra pages are cached on your site instantly boosting your search engine / Net footprint with new static foreign language content.

If you have an Adsense network then you need to get busy NOW translating your sites. Google will display foreign language Adsense on your new pages, again AUTOMATICALLY, boosting your Adsense revenue.

Don’t add any more Adsense sites to your network instead get to work exploding the size of your current network.

Imagine this, if you have just 10 Adsense sites each with 10 pages you’ve got just a 100 pages out there pulling in the Adsense revenue. By translating these sites, easily within an hour, you can boost those pages to 1000!

The Simple Basics On Making Money With Adsense

Adsense No Comments

Adsense is considered as one of the most powerful tool in a website publisher’s arsenal. It enables a person to monetize their sites easily. If used properly, it can generate a very large and healthy income for them. However if you are not using them rightly and just maximizing the income you squeeze from it, you are actually leaving a lot of money on the table. Something all people hate doing.

How you can start earning money with Adsense can be done easily and quickly. You will be amazed at the results you will be getting in such a short period of time.

Start by writing some quality content articles which are also keyword incorporated. There are a lot of people given the gift of being good with words. Writing comes easy for them. Why not make it work in such a way that you will be earning some extra cash in the process.

There are actually three steps to put into mind before you begin writing your ads and having an effective Adsense.

Keyword search. Find some popular subjects, keywords or phrase. Select the ones which you think has more people clicking through. This is actually a keyword selector and suggestion tool that some sites are offering to those who are just their Adsense business.

Writing articles. Start writing original content with keywords from the topics that you have achieved in your search. Take note that search engines are taking pride in the quality of their articles and what you will be writing should keep up with their demands.

Quality content site. Build a quality content site incorporated with Adsense ads that is targeting the subject and keywords of your articles and websites. This is where all that you’ve done initially will go to and this is also where they will prove their worth to you.

The proper positioning of your ads should be done with care. Try to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them. According to research, the one place that surfers look first when they visit a certain site is the top left. The reason behind this is not known. Maybe it is because some of the most useful search engine results are at the top of all other rankings. So visitors tend to look in that same place when browsing through other sites.

Some of those who are just starting at this business may think they are doing pretty well already and thinking that their clickthrough rates and CPM figures are quite healthy. However, there are more techniques and styles to generate more clicks to double your earnings. By knowing these techniques and working them to your advantage, you will realize that you will be getting three times more than other people who have been previously doing what they are doing.

Finally, Adsense has some excellent tracking statistics that allows webmasters and publishers to track their results across a number of site on a site by site, page by page, or any other basis you wanted. You should be aware oft his capability and make the most of it because it is one powerful tool that will help you find out which ads are performing best. This way, you can fine tune your Adsense ads and focus more on the ones being visited the most rather than those who are being ignored.

Another thing you should know. Banners and skyscrapers are dead. Ask the experts. So better forget about banners and skyscrapers. Surfers universally ignore these kinds of ad formats. The reason behind this is that they are recognized as an advert and advert are rarely of any interest that’s why people ignore them.

To really start making money with Adsense, you should have a definite focus on what you wanted to achieve and how you will go about achieving them. As with any other kind of business ventures, time is needed coupled with patience.

Do not just ignore your site and your Adsense once you have finished accomplishing them. Spare some time, even an hour, making adjustments to the Adsense ads on your sites to quickly trigger your Adsense income.

Give it a try and you would not regret having gotten into Adsense in the first place.

The Surefire Ways To Maximize Your Adsense Earnings Instantly

Adsense No Comments

Adsense can generate a considerable amount of advertising income for some webmasters. That is why most of them use it to go after high paying keywords. They have those much coveted lists that tell them what the high paying keywords are. However, after inserting these supposed-to-be high paying keywords into their webpages, the money they expected to come rolling in is not really coming in.

What is it that they are doing wrong?

Having the pages with the proper adsense keywords is one thing. But driving visitors to those pages is another matter and often the factor that is lacking.

The thing is, to get visitors to your high paying adsense keyword pages; you need to optimize your site navigation.

Stop for a moment and think about how visitors are using your website. After a visitor has landed on a certain page, they have the tendency to click on another page that sounds interesting. They get there because of the other links that appears on a page that they initially landed on. This is site navigation. It is all about enabling visitors to move about your site and one way of maximizing your Adsense earnings.

A typical website has menu links on each page. The wording on these links is what grabs a visitor’s attention and gets them to click on one of the links that will take them to another page of that website. Links that have “free’ or “download” are oftentimes good attention-grabbers.

This navigation logic can also be applied to driving traffic to your high paying adsense pages. There are some websites that are getting a lot of traffic from search engines, but have low earnings. The trick is to try and use come cleverly labeled links to get the visitors off that pages and navigate them to the higher earning ones. This is one great way of turning real cheap clicks to real dollars.

Before you begin testing if this same style will work for you and your website, you need to have two things. Something to track and compare and some high paying adsense pages you want to funnel your site traffic to. An option is to select a few of your frequently visited pages. This is ensuring fast result to come by.

Now, the next thing to do is think of ways to get visitors viewing a particular page to try and click on the link that will take them to your high paying adsense pages. Come up with a catchy description for that link. Come up with a catchy and unique description for the link. Think of something that people do not get to see everyday. That will trigger their curiosity enough to try and see what that was all about.

You can also use graphics to grab your readers’ attention. There is no limitation to what you can do to make your link noticeable. If you are after the success of your site, you will do everything it takes just to achieve that goal. Just be creative. As far as many Adsense advertisers are concerned, there are no written and unwritten laws to follow regarding what they write. Just as long as you do not overstep the guidelines of the search engines, then go for it.

Also remember that it is all about location, location and location. Once the perfect attention grabbing description has been achieved, you have to identify the perfect spot on your page to position that descriptive link to your high paying adsense page.

There is nothing wrong with visiting other adsense websites to see how they are going about maximizing their site navigation. “Hot pages” or “Most read” lists are very common and overly used already. Get to know the ones that many websites are using and do not try to imitate them.

Another way of doing it is to try and use different texts on different adsense pages. That way you will see the ones that work and what does not. Try to mix things around also. Put links on top and sometimes on the bottom too. This is how you go about testing which ones get more clicks and which ones are being ignored.

Let the adsense testing begin. Testing and tracking until you find the site navigation style that works best for you site.

Why More Content Means Long Term Success on the Internet

Adsense No Comments

People have often said that content is king on the Internet. I am guessing that you have heard this expression many times, but maybe you have not thought about it enough.

It is a simple point to make but content is the most important aspect to any single website. Without content your website is literally nothing. This is why content and articles that you have on your website are the most important thing you can have for long term success.

A lot of internet marketing specialists will sometimes rely on the latest tips and tricks to beat the search engines or they listen to the latest hype about SEO techniques. These may work in the short term, but in the long term the only thing you can do to actually ensure your success on the Internet with your website is to build more and more great quality content.

A few years ago it used to be the case that people could use free articles that other authors had written and actually generate a lot of traffic to their websites. As more and more people have become open to this idea of using other peoples articles with permission on their website, its becoming less and less effective.

A lot of the search engines, particularly Google, are clamping down on duplication of content. There is so much duplicate content on the web now that it is very easy for Google to see which websites are using the same articles as everyone else. So its no longer enough just to copy hundreds or thousands of articles from free article websites and hope that this will act as great content on your site.

What you need to do is adopt a long term approach and see that the only way to keep climbing the search engines and attracting the traffic is to create articles and quality content on your site that is totally unique. There are various ways that you can create content for your site that will attract a high level of visitors that are relevant and targeted.

One of the ways to do this is to actually write the articles yourself.

Writing your own content obviously takes a lot of time, but you can make it extremely accurate and pinpoint targeted to your audience by using keywords and phrases that you have researched. Using a tool like WordTracker, you can track down the most effective keywords and then start creating content around those keywords.

Another method for creating content is to outsource the writing of the content. You can pay an author to research a particular subject and then go off and write 100 or 300 words about that subject. Obviously there is a cost associated with creating content in this matter, but the benefit is that it frees you up to concentrate on marketing your website, whether that be through search engine optimization, link building, advertising in e-zines, etc.

One thing remains certain; its those website owners in a few years time who are focused on building their own unique content who will win through at the end of the day. Website owners who depend on syndicated content that is duplicated all over the web will not have great rankings in the search engines. So the only way to ensure that you have excellent rankings and long term flows of traffic on the Internet is to develop great, unique, relevant content for your website.

If you are trying to make money online using google adsense, then obviously content is absolutely crucial. You need to make sure that you have enough keywords in your articles etc so that the correct ads are shown. Also, in the first place, you need to be targeting good quality keywords that are paying well.

AdSense Is Making Me Rich

Adsense No Comments

I want to talk to you about the power of Google AdSense and how you can use it to generate not hundreds, not thousands, but tens of thousands of dollars from your website. I have only been using AdSense for a few months, but already I am earning thousands and thousands every single week just from AdSense. I want to share with you right now some secrets on how I do that.

One of the best secrets that I have learned about AdSense is that you can get a lot of revenue if you place AdSense in your links pages. Almost everybody now has a links page or collection of links on their website for other resources. If you have a categorized links directory or a few links pages grouped together this is even better. What AdSense can then do is determine exactly which ads to show on which page.

Since youre already going to be losing traffic from those links anyway, why not get paid to actually drive people to other websites! Thats one of the key secrets: include AdSense on your links pages.

Another great secret is to use your newsletter or mailing list to generate AdSense revenue. They dont allow you to send anything out by email that includes AdSense, but what you can do is you can create a newsletter that is online. You would send an email and, rather than including the newsletter within that email, you would send people to a link. People will land on that link and it includes your newsletter in html format along with relevant AdSense ads.

This also builds up over time. You can have multiple issues of the newsletter back-dated, all of which are accessible and being read by your visitors and all that include AdSense ads. This is a great way, and a very quick way, to monetize your newsletter. If you create a newsletter around a specific theme every single time you email it out, youll start to see that the ads become relevant each time and youll get more and more people clicking on them.

Another secret for AdSense is to create the text ads with the same background as your sites page. If you do this they blend into your site much more effectively. If you use frameless ads, where the color of the frame is the same as your website, this will work even better.

The main secret that I found in creating an AdSense empire is to do one thing every day which will actually improve your AdSense earnings. Whether you add more content, get more key phrases, send another newsletter or read more information about AdSense; do one thing each day which earns you more!

Leverage Other People’s Content To Boost Your Adsense Cash

Adsense is either causing you to lose or win in the affiliate marketing industry now. And if you are in a losing rather than winning in the affiliate program.

Maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense marketing and start earning some real cash.

You do not have to look for relevant ads yourselves as Google search engine will be doing the searching for you. It will match the ads with the content on the pages.

You do not have to spend time in choosing different kind of ads for different pages. And no codes to mess around for different affiliate programs.

You will just need to focus on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads in which to put your pages on.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. It is prohibited, however, to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

You can filter up to 200 URLs allowing you to block the sites that do not meet your guidelines. You can also block competitors. Though it is unavoidable that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites can now instantly have relevant text ads that appeal to your visitors appear into their pages. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. It makes up for having to apply to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you are already earning is to try and see. If you want out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

The payment rates can vary extremely. The Adsense payment you will be receiving per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click to advertise with the use of the AdWords.

Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents and as high as $10-12, sometimes even more than that too. You are earning a share of that money generated.

If your Adsense results remain inactive, you can try and build simple and uncluttered pages so that the ads can catch the visitor’s eyes more. Sometimes, it is better to be unique than following the crowd.

You also have the option to have your ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. You can allow them to be displayed on a large network of sites. The choice would be depending on what you think will work best for your advantage.

To get an idea if some Adsense ads you see on the search engines have your pages, try to find web pages that have similar material to the content you are planning to create and look up their Adsense ads.

It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics only. If you do this, search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site and you will be missing out a great opportunity in making hundreds and even thousands of dollars cash.

It is still wise to model after other people’s Adsense site. Just think about it as doing you a favor by not having to work too hard to know what content to have.

Topic to be avoided includes gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco or drugs. If you are being offered more cash in exchange of doing Adsense with these kinds, it is just like signing your own termination paper.

With all these Adsense information that people need in your hands already, all you have to do is turn them as your profits. It all boils down to a gain and gain situation both for the content site owners and the webmasters or publishers.

Start leveraging other people’s content and start earning some extra cash.

5 Great Tactics To Explode Your Adsense Earnings

Adsense No Comments

Adsense is a great way for many webmasters to monetize their websites. There are two kinds of earnings scenarios.

One is webmasters who are either losing money or having a great deal of difficulty to make whatever little money from Adsense. Another is “geniuses” who are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from their ads.

What makes these webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.

The ones who have been there and done it have useful tactics to share with those venturing into the field. These tactics have proven its worth and will continue to do so.

Here are the 5 proven tactics on how best to increase your Adsense earnings.

1. Focus on only one Adsense format. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format has proven to result in higher click-through rates. So why only choose this format? Basically because the ads blends in like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click on them. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.

2. Create your own custom Adsense palette. Choose a color that will match the background of your site. If your site has a white background, use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to match the colors so that the Adsense looks like it is part of the web pages. Again, this will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide them. Make them obvious to people. You will be surprised how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off, then put your ads there and try to maintain and manage them. If there is already many other Adsense ads put into that certain site,
